I know it's kinda taboo thinking about konami continuing the MGS franchise after KojiPros departure. However, being the ultimate cash cow, how would you react if Konami decided to remake every in house MG-title in the fox engine? Even mg1 and mg2. Would you buy them?
I would not, remakes really turn me off. I'm really glad MGSV left it alone. MG1 is kinda shit I think it has it's own value as it is.
In case folks were wondering about hitching a ride on a fulton-ed container, here's me doing it in a rather sloppy manner. It's pretty great really as not only is a container extraction cheaper on the GMP than a chopper pick up (in a side op anyway), but it transports you straight back to the ACC without having to go through the prolonged chopper routine.
I usually just do "Return To ACC" from the pause menu.
That will always take you back to the last checkpoint though, which might be whenever. [editline]30th September 2015[/editline] Also you can end regular missions by riding a container.
100 round tranq mag with infinite suppressor oh yes
who runs out of tranq ammo anyway
who runs out of tranq ammo anyway
someone who tranqs and fultons everybody EVERYBODY
who runs out of tranq ammo anyway
"bro, watch me make this 150m tranq headshot"
100 round tranq mag with infinite suppressor oh yes
What gun and how.
Losing to heroism just by putting rubber bullets to child soldiers, welp.
What gun and how.
final wu and the glitch
I wanted Snake to talk back and argue with him and tell him that he's fucking crazy like how Raiden did to Armstrong but Snake doesn't have the same background that Raiden does. All I know about his life is that he got neutered and he spent like 10 years with The Boss so he hasn't suffered like Raiden has
Oh? [sp]Tortured and half blinded, tricked by his country into killing the only person he really loved because he felt betrayed by her, subsequently betrayed by the woman who comforted him, cloned without his consent, betrayed again by his friends, having to watch many of his men die, and then caught in an explosion that puts him in a coma for years.[/sp] "Hasn't suffered" Besides, Snake, unlike Raiden, knows that there's no point wasting words on someone who is so strong a believer in their perspective that they're willing to kill half the planet to see it through. Raiden talks too much.
So there's a kid in my Video Production class named Ishmael. He's also a Metal Gear fan.
So there's a kid in my Video Production class named Ishmael. He's also a Metal Gear fan.
Big...Boss?
final wu and the glitch
I thought it only works on slots that are not selectable. The WU's magazine slot has 2 magazine, so how.
who runs out of tranq ammo anyway
Me since I tranq basically everyone I see, plus the focus is more on the suppressor dying first. [editline]1st October 2015[/editline]
I thought it only works on slots that are not selectable. The WU's magazine slot has 2 magazine, so how.
You don't need to click the pistols mag slot, just anything unselectable. Pretty sure I used the stock slot.
I thought it only works on slots that are not selectable. The WU's magazine slot has 2 magazine, so how.
it works on any slot if the weapon has a restricted component 1. equip a part on any gun legitimately and save 2. go to the gun you want to modify and left click twice on an unselectable component 3. the first item from the changed component list in the legitimate gun will now be on the second gun
What the fuck. Replayed lingua franca to get the [sp]materials engineer (super spoilers right)[/sp] but he's no where to be found after finishing the mission. He's not auto-dismissed nor on the brig. Need that next-grade battle dress

I've had that issue where a prisoner never even joins cuz his stats suck and there's no more room. After he joins set up a direct contract with him.
was OILIX brought up again in the series ever?
was OILIX brought up again in the series ever?
nope
was OILIX brought up again in the series ever?
The oil crisis never factored in, I guess. Either they used it which is why gas is never really an issue in a Patriots world, or The Patriots got the oil and quickly destroyed it in order to keep the world under their control. Either way, not enough people played that to talk about that fact.
Also on the topic of MG1 and 2 remakes, they'd really need to touch up the story. The plot in MG1 is practically non-existent save for the twist at the end and MG2, while having a great plot for a 1990 game, really needs to be rewritten so it has more of an impact on the Solid series (and probably do something about that OILIX plot point).
So my first experience with Metal Gear was one of the GBC ones (probably Solid) several years ago (which I never finished), and this year I decided to get back into it with my Roommate's copy of Phantom Pain, which game should I tackle next? I think my roommate also has Ground Zeroes, and I myself am looking to get the one for 3DS.
get a ps3 and get the legacy collection
Unfortunately I don't think I'm willing to make a big investment like that, PS3s still cost quite a bit
get a ps3 and get the legacy collection it'll run you about the price of 2 new games but you'll be playing an entire series sans ground zeroes tpp portable ops and the acids
It was cheaper for me to buy the games separately preowned, $35 for MGS1 + HD collection + MGS4

Since you've already played TPP, try that out. Otherwise, do release order.
If you can't buy a PS3 then the 3DS version of Snake Eater isn't awful by any means, just probably not the optimal play method. Especially if you lack a Circle Pad Pro or New 3DS for full camera control.

It would be a pretty nihilistic ending but that's one of the best ways to tie up the plot point. Plus it'd fit in an Escape From New York reference.
