Yeah, the official character portraits were a mixture of 3D models and paintings. Omni should try out modeling, at some point.

He actually talks about how in the video he wants to get into 3D modeling but at the moment finds the task daunting. He opened Blender once and couldn't make heads or tails of it.

Hello everybody i'm new to facepunch, since this is a smash bros. thread I need to ask, what kind of custom character to you guys use to beat the master fortress because I still can't beat it, right now I use an all defense ganondorf, but he's too heavy to go through the whole thing.

It looks like very few of those are actual true combos though, they rely on the opponent not knowing how to tech.
Yeah, but the key is that many of those failed tech combos put the initial hit and the ground impact VERY close together using an extremely low launch angle. Generally you'd have to see it coming to react in time.
Honestly DI is going to be the most reliable way to shorten or negate most of them.

And their use of low altitude spikes as setups in many of those is quite smart. As any Ganon player will tell you, sure you can tech a low spike like flame choke, but that's SIGNIFICANTLY easier said than done, at least reliably. Those Samus combos are probably the deadliest of that compilation, just because of the OTG spike being so difficult to react to.
And remember, things like footstooling or additional hits during the low groundbounce animation force stand on wakeup, so you CAN'T escape those.
