It's a (semi) shame that the Wii U isn't as mod friendly as the Wii. That turned a pretty alright console into a fucking amazing one with just how much you could do with homebrew.
It probably won't be until Nintendo abandons the Wii U and moves on to a new console when when we'll be able to figure out how to safely mod it since they're constantly updating the console and patching exploits that would prevent us from doing any sort of modding.

And Nintendo has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to cheating online, so if an otherwise relatively harmless exploit winds up facilitating that, it WILL be killed.

do i try for all 686 trophies in smash 3ds? at 648

Would've been a really good play if it weren't for Mario spamming cape the whole video.
I think that a proper representation of New Pork City would operate similarly to Prism Tower, but with it's own unique flair (i.e. one of the stops is the ferris wheel and they're the only platforms at that point, with the blast zone being about two-thirds down the ferris wheel to keep the playing field to three-to-four platforms for that section, another would be the gate entrance top, with one of the locations being slowly creeping up the Empire Porky Tower before it drops down to prepare for the next stop, etc).

I finally did it. I beat 9.0 Classic without losing a life. To anybody who's curious, this is the loadout I used: Mega Man -Vampire Brawn Badge -Auto-Heal Agility Badge -Air Defender Defense Badge The actual stats didn't matter all that much. I wanted the secondary effects more than anything. Besides the loadout, I can only suggest practicing at Master Core and hoping the RNG is feeling merciful on a particular run.
Oh GOD I am so salty right now. My Captain Falcon amiibo just trapped me using a sourspot knee that pushed me off a platform, followed by a single jab to force standup, into Falcon Punch.
okay guys i'm so drunk right now but you cooudl check this out yes i exagerated the knockback a little

I think I accidentally taught it to use sourspots offensively because of how awful I am at the knee. :v:

Sorry, I can't find info on when you started trying to make this.

So I picked up Samus, and I'm really liking her a lot. Does anyone have any tips on how to be good with her in For Glory 1v1's?

Don't be afraid to get in brawling range. Practice dash attack -> up air -> double jump -> up air If you're good you can get a screw attack in at the very end to.
So I picked up Samus, and I'm really liking her a lot. Does anyone have any tips on how to be good with her in For Glory 1v1's?
Learn how to space with missiles and charge shot, sometimes it's a good idea to prematurely fire the shot, some opponents will assume you're gona roll away to keep charging, so mind game the other guy. Speaking of rolling, her roll is really easy to punish, so work on your movement, avoid your roll to get out of sticky situations. Samus is fantastic at maintaining air superiority and your opponent off stage, all her air moves are great, front air to punish air dodges, back air as a kill move, short hop to down air as a combo opener, up air to rack up damage, and it comboes into all her other air moves and up-B although that's a combo finisher when you've blown both of your jumps and works better on heavier characters. A good combo starter is Grab> down throw> Fair/Uair> Fair/Uair> Ub, if you pull it off it's an easy 30-ish damage. A lot off samus I've played against really dont like to use her up tilt, it's a great move that spikes, not to mention it's also one of her kill moves, and if you've been maintaining air superiority, you can mind game your opponent into air dodging before landing and land an easy up tilt. Downtit is also a great combo starter, as it comes off fast and has little lag afterwards As for kill moves, you have you have your Bair, uptilt, USmash, and Sidesmash, and charge shot. Bair and charge shot are the ones I've found the most realiable kill moves, from my experience, the rest require good reads to kill, and usually leave you exposed if you miss. Some smaller things about playing samus, on her UpSmash and her Fair, the last explosion deals the most damage and knockback even if you miss all your other explosions, try to hit the last one. Her bombs are a great way of getting back on stage if you get thrown very far away, and to make sure you land far away from your opponent if you get thrown up, also use them to take away options when your opponent is on the ledge, a bomb near the ledge leaves him with less options to enter the stage without having to stop and shield to avoid damage, giving you an opportunity to get an easy grab. Her Nair comes out, somewhat fast, it's decent try and get out of an combo, also UpB is great "get off me move" to try and break the other guys momentum. Just please dont spamm missiles and only do the grab into down throw into air combo, everyone will hate you for it so try and use all of your moves.
He's not even abusing Yoshi the right way. Spamming eggs is the true way of the dinosaur.
it's funny, but most characters' down smashes and down tilts could hit him no problem, the ones they avoided showing
Even side smashes would've hit if they tilted them downwards. Not sure why people don't know that you can aim side smashes.
Thanks! I'll try to practice with her on that.
Ontop of what Rockerio said wanting to chip in that the charge shot is a powerful tool in ways other then shooting dudes with it. If you can get a full charge you can pretty much forget about it and go melee/missiles. Person your going up against has a high chance of fucking up due to being afraid of the shot which lets you play mindgames. I've gone up against so many people with Samus who just start spamming sidesteps or holding up their shields waiting for it only to get grabbed/punched in the head.
it's funny, but most characters' down smashes and down tilts could hit him no problem, the ones they avoided showing
It's also practical in-game if you read an enemy's high-hitting attack or to just coerce them into getting close to you because their projectiles are too high to hit G&W's low profile. Also works with Jigglypuff and Kirby. It'd be useless fluff if the video showed literally every attack when it's goal is to bring attention to which ones can be evaded by just crouching. No shit it won't work in a real match if all you do is crouch, the opponent will realize this and just hit you with low attacks. For the sake of saving everyone's time, it's presented in a montage format with Tiny Tim singing in the background.
Even side smashes would've hit if they tilted them downwards. Not sure why people don't know that you can aim side smashes.
Even less people know you can aim side tilts.
It's not often you'll actually benefit from aimed smashes, in my experience. I think it's only come in handy for me a couple times, mostly because I play characters where you either can't aim their side smashes, or doing so is negligible.

A lot of characters can edgeguard with a well-placed down-aimed forward smash and aiming up or down allows you to shield poke without resorting to a down smash (which is not ideal in most situations for shield poking except for characters that have a very fast down smash). Aimed side tilts are also useful for shield poking depending on the character.
