A friend and I went to a local smash 4 tourney today. I entered as Lucina, and she entered as Zelda. I placed 3rd and her Zelda placed 2nd. A shiek player beat my friend for 1st place though. It wasn't a big tournament, but it felt pretty nice to do well there.

A lot of people underestimate Zelda I feel. I think she has some good potential. She's very consistent at kicking my buns with her Zelda.

came in third, matches I lost were down to the wire. had a lot of fun. think I'll come back for the next one. surprised at how good the 3ds controller functionality was.

I love all the talk Zelda is getting :3 Last night i went to my best mates place to play smash like usual and I just want to get great with Zelda. I am mastering her side-b because if you get the hitbox down and play 3 person games, it's awesome to be able to fight someone while maintaining pressure on the other person with range. And her nair is the most satisfying thing to land though I seem to never land it

can someone tell me the justification for Mario's inescapable d-throw to u-tilt to u-smash combo that does safe 50% damage? of course every single Mario i've fought online knows to do this, because it's like everyone on For Glory hunts through Reddit and YouTube for ~da best trickz'n'comboz~ so they can join thousands of other boring formulaic pattern-employers and lose their friends at the same time

i don't blame people for locking onto any combos that actually ARE possible in this game, it's either "bread and butter" boring combos or nothing speaking of smash me and some friends have been fucking around with customs and there's some fun stuff. fast aerial focus ganondorf, 60% damage buffed heal-on-ko little mac and crit/first hit bonus marth are some of my favorites to use.

The Ridley mod only needs more balance (and in my opinion, the best way to do so is to make his attacks have plenty of delay, so a mistake ends up making him a huge target that is quite easy to smash around). Other than that, this is a kid who can't remember 9-11 doint that. That is a promising future. Sakurai should take a look (and stop taking modding as an insult, for fuck's sake).

Those hitbox sizes would be OP as fuck in anything but 1v1 either way [editline]15th March 2015[/editline] Also even some of his normals cover almost a third of Battlefield.

So yesterday i was on my first smash bros tourney. It was a goddamn blast to play, even tough i nearly didnt win my first pool (dang ZSS and Luigi). Oh well atleast i get to practice a little bit more until the next one. And buy a gamecube controller perhaps.

The currently released versions are previous to that but it might mean that they might use Ridley in a future PM build. (Or it could just be that the PMDT member liked Ridley and wanted to have a fun alternative character mod available)
