who is who?
I don't look at usernames, rather using avatars to distinguish people on here. Those last two posts threw me for a loop.
blame that dirty poser
What a bizarre thing to wake up to [editline]19th March 2015[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/ZBE1RjA.jpg[/t] Trained exclusively against level 9s at high launch power, and will as a result abuse perfect shield and its fastest possible attacks constantly. Currently undefeated against AI, even 2v1. ... Think I can beat it vanilla?
fucking do it lmao
why is every FE character about tips? tipper mechanic, tipping the scales, whatever roy says probably translate to "AFTER I KILL YOU I'M GIVING LILINA THE WHOLE TIP". ike probably tips decently because hes a nice guy who would save a person and then not ask for any payback.
You forgot Lucina
lucina doesn't have any tip. with marth, it's just the tip
lucina doesn't have any tip. with marth, it's just the tip
roy takes it to the hilt
Lucina doesn't need to tip because she's everyone's m'lady.
what Also, I've been getting into playing Robin a bit lately. Anybody have any advice on playing him?

I don't think Ike was considered top tier ever. Not even in early brawl days I think
I don't think Ike was considered top tier ever. Not even in early brawl days I think
some consider him top tier in PM 3.5
some consider him top tier in PM 3.5
ehm the thumbnail itself is just hilarious to look at
some consider him top tier in PM 3.5
Ah my bad, I'm not very familiar with PM.
remember when people thought ike's eruption KOing at full charge was gonna be op when it was revealed on the Dojo and then it was near useless good times
ehm the thumbnail itself is just hilarious to look at
woah, mew2king looking like a normal human being
what Also, I've been getting into playing Robin a bit lately. Anybody have any advice on playing him?
Regular Thunders catch a lot of people off guard, just be wary of the short range. Arcthunder (red ball, tier 3) is often too slow to hit people at longer ranges, but up close it lends itself nicely to a dash attack or a Levin fair. Elthunder (yellow ball, tier 2) is a good blance between arc and reg. Especially potent on gimping recovery. Use Thoron sparingly, as it drains the tome really quickly. At close range at 70-80%, it can KO light- and middleweights near the side of the stage. Arcfire also lends itself or dash attacks and levin fairs. Use it for spacing or stage control. Almost like PKFire+, but with a slower, reflectable projectile and a durability. Elwind is a fantastic recovery, and a useful downwards attack for getting back on the stage from above. The Levin Sword, when activated, drains on smashes and all aerials besides nair. However, Robin's Levin smashes are incredibly powerful. Learn to time your usage of the sword, between damaging and launching or KOing. You can change between Bronze and Levin by jabbing or smashing. Nosferatu is incredibly useful, acting as a grab. It can be used in the air, and against shielded enemies. If you wanna git gud, learn how to use and abuse Nosferatu. Self-Healing is gr8 Robin is the third-slowest character in the game, after G-dorf and D3. Be aware of that when chasing. Dair can spike, but it has a really tiny hitbox, much worse on Bronze Sword. Use up-taunt. Source: Tipped Scales.
I don't think Ike was considered top tier ever. Not even in early brawl days I think
I was alluding to the fact that I thought Ike was considered pretty high tier when Brawl first came out, but apparently he was always considered mid tier. But yeah Ally recently won a PM tournament with him so he's at least good in PM (then again who isn't).
ehm the thumbnail itself is just hilarious to look at
The funny part about mentioning this is that Fox, Falco, Captain Falcon and Marth are all considered better in PM3.5 than Ike. :v:
I keep messing up Blade Dance when I play online; it usually only gets one or two attacks off. Am I doing something wrong, or is it because it's online? I'm on the 3DS as well. [editline]19th March 2015[/editline]
what Also, I've been getting into playing Robin a bit lately. Anybody have any advice on playing him?
Practice catching your used items (used up tomes and levin swords) and throwing them at the enemy. They do a surprising amount of damage, and can murder people at higher percentages. Also, Thoron's beam lasts a little longer if you hold the button when you fire it.
Here's something a lot of Robin players don't know: Even if you get grabbed, stunned or otherwise interrupted, if the input you just pressed would have expended a tome or your Levin, it will immediately (the same frame your attack is stopped) drop from the front of your model. This can instantly break grabs or interrupt combos without any further input on your part, and even send your foe flying at higher percents. I've had a failed Nosferatu actually end up saving me, because my opponent grabbed me, was immediately hit by the Nosferatu tome upon doing so, and it happened to make the perfect setup for a Levin smash.
