They're practicing every aspect of their game for when they go to Apex/Evo. I see nothing wrong here.

I rarely see my victory screen but seeing Zelda makes it worth it :3
Get better friends

disable pause when they're not looking/before starting the match with them
Who's his favorite character? I'm guessing Mario, Link, or one of the pokemon, right?
i want to try and fight some more DK players, shits fun. You should add me so we can DANCE postal101
(assuming we can connect)
i love dk but i've come to terms with not being good with DK. him not being that good of a character doesn't help either
He instantly went with Samus surprisingly. And for some reason he was aware of her being female.
That kid is going places. Get him a Samus amiibo and compliment him on his good taste.
I made a post for the thing.

would love to help you out with this. i'm gonna start getting into UE4 soon
Man, this game really brings out my childish aggressive side.
I guess I have a terrible habit of taking it too personally, the whole 1v1 thing.
Though how could I not be upset when I lose to someone twice as Marth, then they pick Marth on the third game and tear me up in a ditto as my own character. It feels insulting.
I should work on that attitude I guess.

Met a rather charming player on For Glory. I was Lucina, and he was Falcon.
Lost a pretty close first match (I died at 150% and he was at 127% on his final stock), and he sets his tag to "Lol BAD". Next game I beat him with only taking 10% on my final stock. He sets his tag to "Lucky". Next game he goes Marth to try and show me up I guess. He clearly had no clue how to play Marth (never used tilts, or shorthop aerials) and I 2 stock him. As soon as I got back in the room, he was gone :v:

leave it to gamers to find a way to talk shit even with no proper way of communication :v:
those are the most satisfying to beat, thrash talk through the wins and disappear the moment they lose

Why do people always gotta be asshats?
I get a lot of "Lucky" namechanges when I play Charizard. Mostly from people who play highly aggressive A+ tier characters and walk right into my attacks all match.
[editline]27th March 2015[/editline]
Also see a lot of "Spammer" if I use Rock Smash more than twice or Flamethrower ever. People just don't like losing to characters they're told are bad with ones they're told are good, do they?
People who think skill = luck need to get luckier.

the only time you could be justifiably called "lucky" is if you get a lucky turnip pull or a game and watch 9 or something. y'know, stuff that's actually determined by random chance. other than that it's all individual skill
There is a such thing as a lucky counterplay, in which you either meant to use another move or the effect of your move did something other than what you intended it to, but it worked out in your favor anyway. One of the most common instances of it is a recovery accidentally KOing your foe, in a situation where when you started it, you had no intention of it doing so whatsoever. "I totally meant to do that" moments, in other words.
... But FG players just use that accusation to try and devalue someone else's victory. It's very rarely the result of what I described above.
So I tried out Ness for like the first time ever on For Glory today...
Is he really easy to use, or do I just have a good grasp on his mechanics from watching a lot of good Nesses in action? Because I was doing surprisingly well with him, considering I've never tried playing him seriously at all.

the flat stages lend him an advantage, considering the only safe way to approach him is from the air
And considering he's great in the air too, yeah, he's one of the bigger cases of FD advantage.
just transferred some custom sets from my bro's 3DS. anyone wanna do some 1v1's so i can try em out? give me your NNID if you're interested
(no equipment obviously)
Oh hell yeah. I went to my mate's place where I play smash and since they have two wii u's my friend gabe let me borrow his wii u!! but gave me his ds charger cable isntead of the gamepad and the gamepad is dead.
I'll see them tomorrow though and he might have his copy of smash back for me to borrow also. I'm stoked.
When I woke up this morning, I realized that Zelda 2's battle theme really should've had a remix in SSB4.

Unless maybe it's already hiding in the Temple theme or something and I just didn't realize it.
Tier lists influence people's minds too much.
Fuck those, don't look at them and play the characters instead to know what they are bad and good at.
Through playing, I figured out that WFT requires awkward precision with her moves, but also surprises opponents.
Ganon almost HAS TO predict what his opponent will do to severely punish them, since he's no chaser.
Lucina and Marth have trouble against projectiles, but reward hit acccuracy.
Samus' projectiles are some of the best in the game. Her dodging, however, is not.
Luigi is amazing at mindgames with a safe approach tornado, unpredictablly powerful dodge countering torpedo, disruptive fireballs and a launching sweetspot recovery move. His traction makes it hard to act out of shield, though, since a blocked attack may push him out of range.
Just a few examples from my personal experience.
playing ganon will teach u how to read

Step aside, Zelda. There's a new vessel for the Triforce of Wisdom in town.
