Jump with X and airdodge with Y (this is on a xbox 360 controller).
This is coming along real nicely, do you have past experience with game engines or something?
As a bit of critique, the wavedash looks a little too good. I know it's a WiP, I just figured I should point that out.

It is on purpose, I exaggerate stuff so it's easier to see.
And my experience is very limited, OpenMelee2D is basically a testbed for another project, this is literally the only game i've ever programmed to go this far.
Why there is no official Bowser's castle stage already is beyond me
The fact that there is no Bowser's Castle, any kind of Super Mario Bros 3 stage, Pokemon Gym, labyrinthian or cavernous Metroid stage or Wario Land stage after 5 games is quite bizarre. (To a lesser extent, a lack of Mount DeDeDe's arena or an open field level for Fire Emblem is also weird)
When choosing a stage, they tend to pick either the most iconic or most climactic scene from that game or series. Good Egg Galaxy for SMG, Gaur Plain for Xenoblade, Magicant for Mother 1, etc.
In terms of what I'd add, Bowser's Castle (or just call it 8-4 to be witty) is a no-brainer, but also Glittertown from Wario Land: Shake it (complete with this kickass music), Sootopolis City from Pokemon RSE/ORAS, and for the love of god, a Starfox stage that isn't full of bullshit; maybe something grounded like Corneria City from Assault. You know, the one with the song you can't stop humming even years later.

I think if they added a stage from Wario Land it wouldn't feel right with Wario being the way he is. Better to leave that stuff out when he hardly resembles the Wario in those games. That said, Wario's solid gold castle would be a good/amusing stage.
i'd like a reskin of the basic warioware set up (ie 2 lots of fallthrough platforms in a column on the left and right sides of a square main platform) to look like levels from Topaz Passage in WL4 (ie Toy Block Tower, Big Board, Doodle Woods and Domino Row)

the left layout with graphics like the right
also while we're at it, i wish we had more otherwise unrepped franchises repped in stages. imagine if they had an advance wars stage, or an eternal darkness stage. the AW stage would be on 3ds and it'd be a walk-off of an open-field where two armies are fighting. there might be bombing runs or mortar strikes that happen, and every so often a CO would activate an ability and make one player (or team!!!) have an advantage. the eternal darkness stage would be on wii u and it'd basically have lots of 'illusions' to simulate the sanity effect of the original. fake explosives might spawn just as you do an attack that have harmless explosions, healing items might appear en masse that heal nothing or even hurt you.
but nope have 50 new mario stages on 3ds and have a billion old stages on wii u.

A Rolling Western or Murasame Castle stage would be cool as hell

You were playing Mewtwo wrong if you didn't play him for the air game.

Any PM fans here?
Damn, seeing this made me realise how far away 4.0 is (and with that, the chance to play with Isaac or Lyn).
Speaking of Project M 3.6, here is some more info:
http://imgur.com/a/4vwlA
New alt for Samus: Dark Suit replaces the Dark Suit color from Brawl (ZSS equivalent is still the black-clad ZSS though)
All characters now have stock icons, that wasn't just for all-star mode:
[T]http://i.imgur.com/ToHw6QR.png[/T]
Delfino Plaza is the alternate stage for Delfino's Secret (Delfino's Secret uses Dracula's Castle's layout from 3.5, Castlevania content axed due to only wanting to use IPs present in some form in Smash Bros Brawl)
Bowser's Castle replaces Mario Circuit, has new remixes made specifically for Project M. Bowser also gets his own icon to go with the unique music fanfare given to him in 3.5.
Peach's Castle 64 replaces Peach's Castle Melee, it seems.
HD 64 stages (Princess Peach's Castle, Saffron City, Meta Crystal, Hyrule Castle, MAYBE Kongo Jungle but it seems to be getting the treatment in 4.0, instead) have their classic forms as alternate stages.
Luigi's Mansion returns without the use of an expansion pack.
Sector Z is Corneria's alt, Planet Zebes is Brinstar's alt, Battlefield Melee (but with Brawl's collision, it's only aesthetic) is Battlefield Brawl's alt, Pokemon Stadium 1 is now set to be Pokemon Stadium 2's alt instead of being a separate slot, Green Hill Zone Brawl is Green Hill Zone PM's alt, Distant Planet Brawl is Distant Planet PM's alt, Summit Brawl is Summit PM's alt. There are supposedly more but not all stages will have alts. Random never selects an alternate stage.
WarioWare's Ashley form seems to be the comp version, with the Wario form having minigames as an alt stage.
In theory, if the alternate stage loader is compatible with the 79-stage expansion pack, one could mod Project M to have a capactiy of 158 stages total . . . . . . . . if you can actually fit all of that with music on a 2GB cartridge (assuming you went with the hackless method. lol).

Anyone with linux can try this?
nintendo direct tomorrow, anyone up for some MEWTWO ACTION?
If the leak turns out to be true and there's new music and trophies it will good enough for me.

I also wouldn't mind either a new stage or a remake of an old stage.
Supposedly Miiverse is coming with Mewtwo, so is that a new stage or a remake of Battlefield?
the lower part of the stage is different from battlefield

Pretty sure the Miiverse stage was here the whole time and they just used the lower platform for the online waiting room.

Well Nintendo, gimme codes.
the "new music" thing from the leak probably refers to the unused tracks already in game. There's like about ten of them.
As for the "new trophies" thing, aside from adidng stuff for Mewtwo, I can't see what they'd add.
If there are gonna be any music updates I hope we will get that new verison of Ashley's song.

On any given day I'd think this is real and I'd get hyped, but Omni took that away from me.
I'm calling it, it's a Brawl mod.
He sure looks like Lucario waiting animation
I know I'm late to the party, but yesterday I got myself Smash 3DS. Do you people still play it?
