I still don't get the massive boner for Wolf, make all the jokes you want but he's kind of a shitty character and the only reason a lot of people remember him is because of either the "can't let you do that star fox" meme or the fact that he's one of the only fights in 64 that had a enemy dogfight you properly. Like I can't complain to much because Sheik is still around and she was just a one off disguise for a single game (not counting Hyrule Warriors) but still. Just a opinion I guess.

Think Wolf is one of those characters people wouldn't want back, like Pichu and Roy. like Snake, Squirtle and Ivysaur left because of 3rd party rights and the latter 2 not having as much audience power as Charizard. Pichu was probably in Melee to promote Gold & Silver and being the director's favorite pokemon until it rotated out for Victini. which just leaves Lucas and Ice Climbers. latter because being on 2 systems gimped their chances for even amounts of core content. former....because he wasn't as popular as Ness?* i would think the only legitimate demands being mostly for Lucas and Snake; though other than Ice Climbers, the game has suffered so few character casualties. Is there an audience for Young Link when we have a seperate/future timeline Toon Link? * Seen the ads for the MOTHER 1+2 GBA game in japan? most of the screentime was used for promoting MOTHER 2, i just have no idea what's the western fanbase reception is to MOTHER 3 other than possibly being vocally overzealous fans. it's kind of a large elephant in the room that M3 might have became some sort of hipster "too popular" thing when most of the western players used ROMs anyway. then once Smash 4 came out, Lucas was just outright rotated out. i don't see them using more Earthbound/MOTHER content unless the next Smash game changes context to something Brawl-like to justify much more references upto Bosses. EDIT: Like Earthbound didn't sell well in the US due to sales and advertising, so the internet itself was relatively new and social media was near non-existent. so the appearance of Ness (and indirectly Captain Falcon) was something of an unusual moment, exposing him to everyone. but then Mother 3 came out and most of the fans came from Smash Bros rather than fans of the EB series. does people know anything other than Fassad [sp]becoming a cyborg robot[/sp], Hinawa being [sp]killed by a mechanized Tyrannosaurus[/sp], said scene leading up to Flint going [sp]batshit crazy with a 2x4[/sp] or even that sunflower field cutscene?

Why would it be on club2.nintendo.com when smashbros.com is a thing, especially since club nintendo is shutting down Also the mewtwo render looks like ass and not even close to what it is in smash 4
