Man... WiiU's classic mode is extremely efficient at ruining any fun I could potentially have. The 3DS version is fine, I can do half a dozen runs of that before I get bored, but... The eight-player matches (on tiny stages, ugh) where everyone inexplicably gangs up on only you, mixed with the inability to opt out of Crazy Hand and Master Core, combined with the inability to cheese the roulette like you can on 3DS to reliably earn equips... There is absolutely ZERO fun to be found for me. I positively dread grinding custom moves on WiiU. [editline]2nd April 2015[/editline] What's the ideal strategy for Crazy Orders? If that's just as bullshit then I'm giving up on trying to 100% customs.

I've barely touched Wii U's single-player content to be honest. There isn't anything compelling there.
Your best bet for getting customs is just to make your ideal builds on the 3DS version and transfer them over
Having them for picky friends would be nice, and getting equipment for amiibo too. And removing a degree of hassle from having to import stuff constantly. It's why I'm curious about crazy orders.
Honestly Crazy Orders can be pretty bullshit too when you end up dying due to some stupid bullshit item or stage hazard. The actual AI is pretty easy to take on and prevent as much damage to yourself as you can, but when you end up fighting on a stage like the new Pokemon stage where the swords hurt you just by touching them, or you get killed by an assist trophy that chases you down/is not avoidable, it becomes pretty tedious, especially when the game specifically penalizes your loss by removing any of the worthwhile customs you got on your run. I don't know what the hell they were thinking when they had all of that shit enabled but I guess it would be too easy if it wasn't for that stuff.

I voted Shovel Knight, an indie rep in Smash would be cool. Also, the first GameCube Adapters has now arrived in Denmark, about damn time...
I want Smash Run in the Wii U version. God damn, Sakurai.
And then give Smash run online support.

You know who'd be a great fighter? Barbie.
Im gonna vote for this adorable bastard because i honestly think he'd make an awesome addition and have a brilliant move set!
well he does have fighting potential
FUCK, why did i not vote for Banjo & Kazooie ?!
I just love how in the example Nintendo showed fucking Cat Mario. Nintendo is literally the only place on the planet where you'd find somebody who wants Cat Mario as DLC for games.
Because Microsoft owns them and we're more likely to get Charles Barkley instead.
Ahhhhhh, of course. God dammit, id love to have an ultimate showdown with Duck Hunt Duo and Banjo & Kazooie
do we already have mewtwo and lucas's trailer music in game or are they gonna add them with 1.06?
I just love how in the example Nintendo showed fucking Cat Mario. Funny stuff.
do we already have mewtwo and lucas's trailer music in game or are they gonna add them with 1.06?
None of them are new songs. Lucas's are on the Onett stage (Love Theme, Smashing Song of Praise), Mewtwo uses Victory Road from Brawl.
Sakurai has taken content that was in the previous game and is now selling it as DLC in the current game. Discuss.
Sakurai has taken content that was in the previous game and is now selling it as DLC in the current game. Discuss.
Characters take a ridiculous amount of time to develop and you phrased that in the most loaded way possible. [editline]2nd April 2015[/editline] Characters don't just shit themselves out because they were in the previous game, you know.
What's the ideal strategy for Crazy Orders? If that's just as bullshit then I'm giving up on trying to 100% customs.
Pick Fox or Mario with Quick Fireball. Equip Quick Batter, First Striker Invincibility, and Homerun Bat equipment. Use projectile to gain invincibility Bat enemy out of park. Repeat. Just try to avoid enormous stages, team battles, and enemies with reflectors (also Rosalina because meat shield Luma). Go for metal enemies over giant enemies. Some people have hit the 99 round limit with this strategy.
Voted for Wonder Red. Others I'd really want to see are King K Rool and Skullkid.
Sakurai has taken content that was in the previous game and is now selling it as DLC in the current game. Discuss.
"have you ever made a game?"
Voted for [DEL]Reyn Shovel Knight John Cena[/DEL] Wolf, as long as he gets a new final smash and a makeover for Star Fox U.
I wonder how many people are gonna spam Ridley I feel like Nintendo is just doing this so people can get their passive aggressive character woes out, they probably already know who's coming next.
Well I'm voting for Ridley, but realistically I'm expecting someone like Wonder Red. Or hopefully DK will get some more love.
Voted for Snake Just so his trailer can involve the use of 'Kept you waiting, huh?"
The only acceptable vote besides Wonder Red is Shovel Knight. Facts.
The only acceptable vote besides Wonder Red is Shovel Knight. Facts.
Also goku
Whenever the Punchout Minor League remix plays, I cannot help but be reminded of the fact that the composer of said remix did the music for Cho Aniki and uses the same voice clips in the remix.
Sakurai has taken content that was in the previous game and is now selling it as DLC in the current game. Discuss.
he's bringing back highly requested characters from previous entries in the series and making them in a different engine with new models and new animations and all that jazz yeah he's just drag-and-dropping characters right from brawl sure
