Speaking of swordsmen, I figured out an amazingly useful, but kinda situational tech with Lucina and Marth that has surprised people and allowed me to follow up with another in total peace. Double jump, and immediately after the second jump, fully charge the Shield Breaker to get a slight boost forward just as you hit the ground. You should be able to break shields from slightly longer distances with this. The boost also aids in horizontal recovery if used right. People never expect me to pierce their shields when I doublejump like a fool, only to lunge at them with a powerful stab that either shatters their shield or does major damage, maybe even KO.

Why would you ever vote for Inkling? Their game isn't even out yet, it could be a 7/10 forgettable whatever for all we know.

They liked the character so they want him back? I actually liked him a lot in Melee. They changed Bowser a lot and he's awesome! They changed quite a few characters, from small changes to big ones. So what makes you think they wouldn't be able to bring back Roy and change or make him better then his Melee incarnation? They could modify his specials' behaviors or give him new ones. Same for his normals, while keeping his close range playstyle. There is nothing stopping them from adding old characters, even Snake if they can get his rights and Ice Climbers (and this one would be drastically changed because of the 3DS version unless they find a workaround). We already got Mewtwo and Lucas. Roy has big chances if the demand is high enough.

They stabbed themselves in the foot with the 2 versions thing and they now have to live with it.

There are no two ways about it. People still buy and play that version. You might not, but it's still one of the best-selling 3DS games month to month. You're asking for that to end, in the worst way possible. [editline]6th April 2015[/editline] Sakurai wants them to be as close to equal as they possibly can be, because the 3DS version is the one he actually wanted (he would've made one for the DS if it had an analog stick). He only made the WiiU version because it was basically demanded of him; he was told his proposal wouldn't be greenlit unless there was a home console release, either instead of or alongside the 3DS one. He chose both in an effort to not surrender the vision he's had for almost ten years. Some believe the 3DS version to be an afterthought catering to poor people, but it's actually quite the opposite. The WiiU one wouldn't have even existed had he not had the desire to make it for a handheld. In fact, it's possible NEITHER would've been made had he flat-out been told "no 3DS version, WiiU only."

Neither was Roy's. People are going with the "It would be good marketing" argument.

I love pairing up with my gf or one of my friends to do two player online for glory. I was honestly bored of Smash for a while but this new DLC poll thing has resparked my hype and its off the charts

I don't really have any kind of reverence for the ice climbers tbh. I just think it's kind of a shame they're not there due to the 3ds version existing. Also I own both versions of smash4 and I probably have more playtime on the 3ds version having only picked my wii u up within the last 2 months and playing smash bros portably is a godsend. Didn't mean to come across as a 3ds basher, haha.

People kept looking at it like it was a set amount of characters before the game released, and when they spilled over that amount another page was added to the menu. It means nothing.

Sorry, I don't think it's anything special.

Roy was a clone, Sakurai has said before that clones take absolutely minimal effort to put in compared to full characters. Inkling doesn't have anyone she could steal a full moveset from, she'd be her own thing, taking months for a character who hasn't proven herself yet.

He's the King's right hand man and henchman number 1, and this was all the way back in Kirby Super Star for the SNES. He was put on the backburner for the longest time, but as of recently he's become a notable character in the Kirby games, being the 4th party member and assuming best friend to Kirby. If you played Return to Dreamland, you'll find that even with a measly spear, there is a lot of moveset potential (as opposed to your sarcastic Goombario comparison). I know I speak for a lot of people when I say that having the 4th and final member of the Kirby Crew in Smash would be delightful.

It's kinda tough to get the hang of, but so long as you buy the dodge and counter moves as soon as you can, you start to get it after the first level or two. Once you get the hang of it, it's amazing.

You need to play W101, you can't watch it without losing the feel of it. Yeah, the demo was shite, but once you figure the game out, it goes to such incredible extremes. It reaches point of insanity that [I]dwarf [/I]any of Platinum's other games.

yknow, as a fan of the zelda series, I used to be huge into the whole "make ganon unique and bring black shadow in with his old moveset" thing. but after 3 games, I'm kinda liking ganon as a warlock punchin, meteor stompin, volcano kickin uberheavy disrespect machine. playing ganon is hilarious. I wouldn't want him any other way.
