Spiking someone with Falco is hard, but that's what makes it so satisfying, I guess.
Spiking someone with Falco is hard, but that's what makes it so satisfying, I guess.
His spike is no harder than like everyone else in the game's spike moves, the fact that his one used to be way too fast and reliable was OP and I'm glad they changed it
hardest spike to hit in the whole game (i've only nailed it once) is WFT's headbutt from the side-b.
I think I'm going to take a liking to Link. He's a really solid character, unlike Toon Link which is a dirty spammer. [editline]25th January 2015[/editline] oh boy I'm facing a guy named Sonic I wonder if he mains Diddy MK.2
I have a tag named sanic and I will play everyone but sanic I like to think it could be considered a mindgame of sorts. I mean sure they see samus but sanic could pop out at any moment with a spindash!!! [editline]25th January 2015[/editline] look out he's behind you!!!
Well Sonic made me have my first ragequit 40% a combo and you can't even stop it I mean I have fun playing against ZSS, Sheik and even Diddy for the most part. But this is a whole new level of bullshit.
Let me guess, Spindash into fair into upair into spring into upair again? I mentioned that earlier and it's pretty nuts. If that's the combo I'd actually give that sonic credit because it's super situational and hard as fuck to pull off reliably.
I'm still kinda disappointed that they kept Captain Falcon's Brawl win theme rather than go with his Melee one.

He even used two springs one time to make me go over the top blast range.
I have a special place of fury in my heart for players who stick to literally one or two moves the entire game and even if you force them out of it or beat it they keep doing it, and I've run into a lot of Sonic players who suffer from this. I remember fighting one guy as one of the thirty characters with a combo, and it got kind of ridiculous when I countered him four or five times in a row and he still insisted on trying the Down-B Spindash-into-rising-kick combo.
When I play Toon Link I legitimately frequently forget I have projectiles and just combo rush with the sword. He's got a surprisingly decent normals game that almost nobody uses.
Megamans bit is true as hell. I find I survive at higher percentages with him. almost got to 225% on one stock before. His weight coupled with his high ass vertical recovery help a ton

His Side B can be paused and he can actually jump while keeping the charge to fake you out and hit you in the cool down of the counter. It's slightly slightly slower and does less damage but it looks exactly like the down spindash (It also lacks the revving sound) and acts the same combo wise as the spindash.
So when the Amiibo update hits the 3DS version on the 13th, does that mean that all my replays are gonna be garbage again? Should I go about recording them on my phone now?
When I play Toon Link I legitimately frequently forget I have projectiles and just combo rush with the sword. Toon Link is the shit.

Move data can be emulated relatively seamlessly with backward compatibility if the only real changes are numeric. When you get into things like changing how knockback in general is calculated, then yes replays will be inaccessible. Nintendo gave a fair warning about replays being no longer backward compatible last time, they'd do it again if that were the case with this update. All this one seems to be adding is support for their specialized AI figurines. If there's more to the update it's not important enough to bear mention yet.
I think I might do it anyways. Looking back at some of these, I've got some really good Dedede matches saved up.
I've really messed myself up. My internet has been shockingly bad recently, so I've been stuck playing Lvl 9's for a long time. Unfortunately for me, I've made myself be completely dependent on having things like frame perfect dodging and hitting, so going online completely fucks with me.

Fox and Bowser Jr, I just can't deal with the timing being off for them. I tried, I really tried, but in the end it just stopped being worth it because my local play was starting to suffer harshly. [editline]t[/editline] On a different note, I've set my mind on making my Bowser amiibo the most ridiculously overpowered thing ever. His training routine? [t]http://i.imgur.com/jAG4kc9.jpg[/t] By the end he will be a goddamn terminator
ZSS down B is nearly impossible to punish when shielded.

Toon Link's ariels are really satisfying to land. Especially Uair.

I don't think it's possible for anyone to be mad if that happened to them.

That is the best use of the FLUDD I have ever seen! And it's terrifying at the same time.

diddy trial: the defense has spoken
the part where he talks about cutting the beast's head off is spot on
So Gematsu was real... at one point
I did a lot of data-mining into the 3DS version; so I was super excited when the Wii U game files could finally be decrypted. Here’s what I found: The Share menu (Sharing Mii Fighters, Snapshots and Video) is present in the Wii U version. The text for it is the same (AFAIK). There are no additional fighter characters. However… C:\SSB4\ui\replace\chr\chr_00 chr_00_Virus_01.nut C:\SSB4\ui\replace\chr\chr_11 chr_11_Virus_01.nut C:\SSB4\ui\replace\chr\chr_12 chr_12_Virus_01.nut Lastly… C:\SSB4\ui\replace\chr\stock_90 stock_90_Virus_01.nut This strongly suggests that Dr. Mario was going to receive a stage. Perhaps the three different Viruses had a different effect on the players (Chill could freeze, Weird could give the effect of Lip’s Stick and Fever could give players fire breath). There’s no way to tell as the models and stage have been removed. ui_mark_db has references to rhythm (in the fighter section) and diary (in the stage selection). This is the game’s database for the emblems (marks) used in the game. See the original order below (text edited to delete extra markup). One theory is that the Gematsu Leak was correct, and the Chorus Men were originally planned. Diary is a potential reference to Swap Note, as the Japanese name is for the series is いつの間に交換日記 with 日記 being diary. One proposed theory is that PictoChat 2 originally was going to be a Swap Note themed stage, but was changed after the controversy. However, nothing else in the files suggests that so far, and the actual textures for the emblems are missing. The emblem order follows the character order. It’s sad to see that the Ice Climbers and Snake were removed. Please note, it seems that the textures for these series have been removed. Stay tune for additional information. smashbros donkeykong starfox kirby fzero metroid mother pokemon zelda mario yoshi fireemblem gamewatch pikmin wario palutena famicomrobot sonic plankton touch doubutsu wiifit xenoblade punchout duckhunt rhythm rockman nintendogs miiplaza pacman tomodachi wreckingcrew wuhuisland miiverse lightplane braintraining balloonfight diary etc Personally, I feel this confirms the Gematsu leak. Most likely Chrom was pushed aside for Robin, early on in the development as Sakurai felt that Robin was a more unique character (And then Sakurai lampooned Chrom for even being considered in the Robin reveal trailer and Palutena’s Guidance). Before I forget, there’s a ton of people to thank and recognize. The Wii U hacking has made significant progress in the last two weeks. crediar released his decryption software, chroxx and RandomTalkingBush made the code to properly extract the files for Smash 4 Wii U. Without their efforts, I would be very lost.
