Pokefloats 2, with Unova/Kalos pokemon.
Omega version is a giant Avalugg.
i've come to the realization that this is exactly what it's like playing captain falcon, but in song form

i now listen to it whenever i play him
So now I am sad we didn't get upper/lower Brinstar, lower Norfair, or Dark Samus' theme for the Metroid stages. Or Tallon Overworld.
Some costume dlc would be neat honestly.
Feel it would be easy money for Nintendo.
I'd love alt costumes if they're model swaps, ala some of the excellent stuff available for PM.
Accept my friend request postal
They owe Olimar, Alph and each of the Wario costumes 4 palette swaps, in any case...
Also, more music, and more stages. Seriously, Smash is a very modular game, had any other developer made it, it wouldn't have half as much content, but it'd be full of DLC.
Villager is uncannily similar to Snake... And, to be honest, Snake felt quite out of place compared to the other third party characters. Metal Gear Solid is one of the icons of PlayStation, hyperrealism is unheard off in the rest of franchises...
Still was an interesting character, but, was kinda off. Still, some elements live on on Villager and Duck Hunt, but, out of all the cut characters from Brawl, I miss Wolf, the Ice Climbers and Lucas a tad more (specially Wolf, far more distinct than Falco). Lucas could get the Alph treatment, but yeah, unique feel would be lost.
honestly i'd pay like $10 for Snake alone
i'd pay $30 for a Platinum games rep
I honestly thought they were going to obviously add in Bayonetta, since they had Bayonetta 2 as an exclusive for the Wii-u.
DLC character please.
well i think she would definitely bump the ESRB rating up on her own
They axed the Tharja trophy due to that. Tharja's fanservice is visual only; she doesn't act fanservicey or anything, she just has a quite trasparent outfit and decent proportions.
Bayonetta has that and knows it. And seeing ratings are bullshit anyway, but taken seriously, well, probably wouldn't make it.

I miss Snake though, his off-ness is what made him charming to me and a lot of my friends when I was young and Brawl was new, and now that I'm actually into the MGS series, I want to play him in this new Smash which I believe is essentially superior to Brawl in every way.
Why does Rosalina break her spine when she crouches?
I feel that not including Bayo is better than having a completely bastardized version of her.
Also making fake rosters is hard.
Man someone talk sense into me or something as when I scroll down and see Mewtwo in the roster picture I just kinda groan. I will defend Dark Pit and Lucina but he's the first real "waste of time" in my opinion.
Not just because he's pandering to Gen 1 or the fact the rosters flooded with enough pokemon as is, but the first (and possibly only, though I hope not) DLC character potentially being just a melee character ported over really rubs me the wrong way when we could of gotten literally anyone else- even Ridley and it would be more interesting.
At the very least I hope they update his render for the game. The one as is is terrible and boring.

Also Bayonetta stands a snowball's chance in hell and will never be referenced in game. You have a better chance of Wonder Red somehow finding his way into the battle.
Why would you defend Dark Pit or Lucina? They are clones with next to no differences from their base characters. At least Ganondorf has a different speed and modified attacks.

Because they didn't steal anyone's spot and were literally last second additions. The roster wouldn't lose anything from them being cut but they aren't exactly hurting it by being there. If there's a small amount of dev time left in the game and they can't exactly make a fresh new character what's wrong with trying to please a handful of fans?
People complain about Alph but I said it in the other thread I'm almost 100% sure he was going to be a Lucina tier clone. His trophy is the exact same as Olimar's and you have to buy it in the store. Olimar's alternate trophy is still Olimar and his final Smash is still Olimar only. Everyone else has their alternate color or character be the "alt" trophy (Overall Wario, Wireframe Little Mac) outside Bowser Jr (for obvious reasons) so it's not too far fetched.
It's not like they're designing him from scratch.
Sift, I will remain civil and try to be friendly, but every fiber of my being is telling me to do otherwise and engage in insulting behaviour.
You managed to diss two of my favourite Nintendo characters in a single breath, just because you felt like being a prick. Oh well, once Mewtwo is released (which, by the way, has remained a fan favourite since ever), I will personally kick your ass with him. Repeteadly.
Seriously don't act in such a douchy way, otherwise people will be assholes in return.
I don't think 'stealing a spot' is a real thing with Smash. Sakurai said there was a priority list for characters based on their modern relevance, combine that with implementation, you just get characters who might not be worth their while trying to make.
Dark Pit and Lucina probably take the same amount of time and effort as Lucas or Wolf. They just happen to be more relevant. Ice Climber would take a shitload of time to get right, especially with 3DS hardware restrictions and 8 player smash.
Mewtwo is being developed after the game had finished being made.
Dark Pit and Lucina were quite easy, as they were being made as model swaps. Lucas was quite different animation-wise and with his entire A moveset, and Wolf was a different character made to resemble Fox, rather than something based on Fox and made to be slighty different. Still, relevance-wise, Lucas becoming something akin to Alph would had been a neat solution. Wolf, well, Falco had the grandfather clause, but was already considered for Melee, and is the other character I can see returning (Lucas as well tho, but less likely, considering Mother is over but we are getting a new Star Fox this year).
Mewtwo has its Melee base, some early Brawl stuff, and they will never admit it, but some glances at Project M probably happened. It also got a fucking movie last year, as well as 2 megas (who would have fared better if the designs were, well, better). Still a fan favorite, still relevant.
I would have been fine with having IC looking like they did in their NES game, in a Game and Watch sorta method. Would at least having been a lot less graphically intensive.
Still, the game has to compute 2 characters instead of one. Not a character and an object such as Luma or Pikmin, but an actual NPC following the player controlled one.
The Ice Climbers were an interesting gimmick, but they were more of a gimmick than a character, and pretty much irrelevant.
But damn, they could have gotten an assist trophy.
What do you mean they were a gimmick? They had a unique aspect to their character, which affected how they were played.
Unless you compare it to things like Mac's Power Meter, Shulk's arts,Rosaluma's mirror characters etc. and call those gimmicks. Even then, what about it being a gimmick makes it bad?

Can you at least try to address arguments instead of engaging in this "nobody messes with ma boiz" shitslinging?
I already did. Mewtwo remains relevant, if anything, calling said character a waste of space would be the statement requiring arguments to back itself up.

Yeah would kind of prefer that as I don't mind being wrong or talking about things. Also I wasn't aware I was insulting people by saying I felt like Mewtwo is gen 1 pandering and a little too much. (Greninja and Lucario are the only pokemon not from Gen 1 in the game. With Mewtwo that's 4. It could of easily went to another pokemon if another one had to be in the game)

I did though. I explained that the first DLC character that starts it all off being a port of a melee character is a bad start that I don't care for at all.
As I just mentioned I think Gen 1 has way too many reps and anything from another Gen would be better (as long as it's reasonable, not saying Skitty should get in)
I think there's too many pokemon already and I'd rather have a franchise with little or no representation get in instead of something that has more than anything else barring Mario. I say this understanding fully how popular Mario and Pokemon are but Pokemon having 6 unique fighters seems like overkill.
Hell here's the argument for the render comment. Literally every character is doing some kind of action pose or something interesting. Even Jigglypuff. Mewtwo is just staring at the ground brooding so is it wrong I hope he at least has a pose similar to his trophy that's already in the game or something?

Actually Samus is in probably the most boring position she's ever been

But she's a ballerina
At least Ganondorf and Megaman won't get a stand
