To be fair that's still pretty exciting. It's the community being over-optimistic again that's to blame for the disappointment.
Isn't that Dr. Mario virus portrait just the virus trophy from brawl?
There's still the announcement before the Melee Finals.
what are you talking about?
what are you talking about?
http://smashboards.com/data/sponsor/Apex2015Pools.pdf Check the schedule. "Announcements + Melee Finals" [editline]27th January 2015[/editline] Also, JC from Nintendo Treehouse: "Oh, we're not done yet. Keep your eyes peeled." Me and my little brother were playing some Project M a little while ago, and his Roy and Falco honestly scare me sometimes, especially his Roy. Like, he'll play averagely as usual, but sometimes he'll pull out these really sick combos out of nowhere, and then go back into his normal playstyle like it was nothing. Also, take note that my little brother is only 9 years old, turning 10 next month. I knew I shouldn't have let him watch all those Sethlon videos...
So Nintendo is teaming up with Screwattack for streaming APEX:
A clone of a newcomer? When was the last time that happened, Melee?
Well Luigi in 64 was pretty much a clone of Mario, and I guess everyone was a newcomer in that game. The only other one is Roy.
"69 new posts" Anyways, I really feel that Pac-Man's down B needs a buff. It's so baaaad.
"69 new posts" Anyways, I really feel that Pac-Man's down B needs a buff. It's so baaaad.
Are you using pac-man's hydrant to push things? No no no try using it as a projectile and learn the trajectories: It's actually pretty devastating once you get the aiming down.
"69 new posts" Anyways, I really feel that Pac-Man's down B needs a buff. It's so baaaad.
If a Pac-Man special move needs a buff it might be his Side-B. It's very predictable and easy to punish.
If a Pac-Man special move needs a buff it might be his Side-B. It's very predictable and easy to punish.
it can be a good mixup, mostly when your opponents in the air and has less ways to punish you for it, and side b-ing into the hydrant while standing on it is a quick way to launch it. i also think it's one of the best recovery moves in the game.
Why isn't smash run in the Wii U version? SAMURAIIII [editline]29th January 2015[/editline] On a related note is it possible to transfer moves/trophies from the 3DS version to the WIIU version?
Why isn't smash run in the Wii U version? SAMURAIIII
I suppose he thought it wouldn't work out super well on a system like the Wii U. Even if you could get away with having splitscreens for each player, I would assume that getting those mini challenges to work on the Wii U version would be somewhat difficult considering it looks like they're loaded in the same way loading any other stage works, which may interrupt other players. Sure, the Wii U could probably handle loading stages for one player and letting other players continue playing, but that's just my guess as to why they didn't bother with Smash Run on the Wii U.
I bought a Bowser amiibo because I have no self-control. You dangle something in front of my face that says "Nintendo" and "Probably Rare" and I will want it.
Bowser is one of my favorite amiibo so far regardless. It's the only one I own that I'd call "nearly perfect" in terms of its quality (mold, paint), accuracy (no posts), and overall detail. It's the only one I can think of that actually improved on the prototype (detail shading was added to darken certain areas and add depth, versus the original's flatter look)

SAMURAIIII [editline]29th January 2015[/editline] On a related note is it possible to transfer moves/trophies from the 3DS version to the WIIU version?
There's no way to transfer trophies. You can transfer customized characters, but that won't unlock the moves, it will just let you use the customized character.
I am collecting a sizeable arrangement of replays where I ganondunk into victory after sometimes blatantly obvious edge baiting on my end Seriously I cannot believe how dumb people are sometimes. Even against projectile heavy characters, they just rush up to the edge and try to knock me off up close. there will be matches where I'm just getting my teeth kicked in and I turn it around with a well timed dunk Is it considered a scummy tactic yet or what

I recently turned a team match into a 1v1 by dunking the opposing Ganondorf twice. We may have lost, but I won.
Broly didn't eat dinner so he eats his controller
hoo ha cena But why is he eating his controller anyways, I've never heard of Broly.
hoo ha cena But why is he eating his controller anyways, I've never heard of Broly.
Isn't he partly paralyzed? I'm guessing it has to do with impaired fine motor in his hands, so he has to play with his face.
Isn't he partly paralyzed? I'm guessing it has to do with impaired fine motor in his hands, so he has to play with his face.
Oh, alright. [sp]I feel bad for asking.[/sp]
The real answer is he's hungry [editline]29th January 2015[/editline] And he wants to taste victory [editline]29th January 2015[/editline] Seriously though he is paralyzed and he's a SF4 player. He's freakishly good at what he does.

New update, makes more stages open to 8-player games [t]http://oi57.tinypic.com/2z9mnb8.jpg[/t] No character balances as all replays still work so don't fall for that
New update, makes more stages open to 8-player games [t]http://oi57.tinypic.com/2z9mnb8.jpg[/t] No character balances as all replays still work so don't fall for that
The problem is that some stages need to be REMOVED from 8-player, because they are an unplayable clusterfuck and ruin co-op Classic. Some of you know exactly which ones I mean. [editline]t[/editline] Disagree all you want, Yoshi's Island is annoying with even FOUR people playing.
sakurai does mention in the patch notes that there were some fixes tho and some gimmicks don't work in 8-players (no shy guys in mario circuit)
There is so much wrong choices for 8 players mode in this game. And it's worse that you can't even , at least, have large custom stages available. Oh btw, Palutena's temple is terrible no matter what mode you're playing, even CPUs hates it. And let's not talk about 75m
