Not having Masked DeDeDe as a final smash or an alt costume after going out of the way to give him a new final smash was also a total copout, imo.

It's when you have moves doing entirely different things or the game physics themselves are changed that replays would no longer be backward compatible, as there's no way for the game to properly emulate older versions from that point forward.

Learn the arcs for Din's Fire. It's one of the best edgeguarding tools in the entire game if used correctly, and it's among the safest too thanks to the very long range.
Zelda's neutral B is a good long lasting getthefuckaway move / reflector also her downsmash is very very fast her down tilt can trip and stun, spam it at low %s. At higher, it kicks them up so you can combo into up smash learn aerial spacing, her sweet spot can KO as low as 60%
I feel sorry for Dedede's that have to take on a competent Zelda. She is pretty much their worst nightmare in terms of match-ups.
The big characters are super easy to sweetspot with lightning kick too. As long as the sweetspot is anywhere inside their hitbox on startup, it counts.
Up throw -> up-b at high % is usually a kill for me.
Why is Falcons so goddamn slow? He used to have such a fast dash back in Brawl and Melee. It feels really weird running with him in 3DS version.

Falco's geared to play a bit slower probably because they got rid of Wolf that said some of his moves are fucking punishing, his spike is so satisfying
Sonic has more than Side and Neutral B moves, right? Because literally every Sonic I see online ONLY uses Spin Dash into Homing Attack. I feel like if someone really wanted to dominate For Glory, they'd just have to get really good at Sonic. No one would ever expect them to be any good; by the time the surprise has worn off, they'd already be down a stock at least.

No one would ever expect them to be any good; by the time the surprise has worn off, they'd already be down a stock at least.[/QUOTE] Well there's the Spin Dash into Up Air, Up Air and it's variants which can net up to 60% damage in one combo, and occasionally I can combo spin dash into an up air and a spring assisted up air which can murder people at like 40%. I had to drop Sonic entirely because everyone hates him so much because of his spin dash combo bullshit.
Sonic's problem is that two of his moves are the exact fucking same and three of them look the exact same. It makes him unpredictable in most situations and it's annoying.
Like, I'll have a match with someone who plays a really mean Falcon or Kirby or something. Where like, they're clearly really good at the character, they know all the ins and outs and all that. But nothing makes me lose respect for an opponent more than obvious flowchart bullshit. I'm looking at you, Sonic and ZSS and sometimes vanilla Samus. On the flipside, nothing feels better than completely annihilating someone who just hits the same buttons over and over again with no variation.
I played too much PM and now 4 feels wrong. I've been poisoned. Help.
Please don't hate on Samus, they're already fighting a uphill battle for the most part. Worst part is a Sonic could actually be mixing things up but you'll never be able to tell because it all looks the exact same.
I can handle Diddy, Shiek, Rosaluma, and ZSS players quite well. It's Sonic I have a raging vendetta against. Fuck that hedgehog.
The only players I have a lot of problems with are Shiek players who constantly use needles into grabthrow/Usmash into Uair Uair Uair endlessly, and cowardly ZSS players who don't attack unless they get a stun first, totally avoiding me until they land it. No character I play has a safe answer to both of these.
