(S)He's quite good, just awkward to get used to. Good projectiles, good priority moves, excellent aerials, [b]3 FUCKING SPIKES[/b], and let's not forget crouching is able to dodge a ton of moves. Also, has a solid recovery while being able to self-buff.

I'd like to say that if there is one weird tier list, it's Smash 4's. Smash 4 is arguably the most balanced Smash Bros game in the series, you can do well with pretty much anyone if you know how to play him/her well. If Dabuz playing as Olimar beating M2K playing as Diddy isn't proof of that, I don't know what is.

The Smash Bros subreddit is at each other's throats about game preference and PM while Facepunch is much more mellow. It's very refreshing.

One spaces, zones and traps, the other follows up with strong smashes while enemy mobility is reduced or denied. It's astonishingly lethal on smaller maps, and is tough to beat on FD without a Ness of your own. Plus, Charizard can heal Ness by quite a lot pretty quickly using flamethrower.

You don't need to practice much to play him well, that's why people want him nerfed I think.

It could also be that people are butthurt about Fox, Falco and Marth not being considered top dogs anymore.

There is no way in hell Rosalina is number 1 so that list is instantly garbage. She's good mind you but she just ain't #1. Also lotta dummies in this thread who don't get that the reason Diddy is considered OP is because he has literally no lag on everything and the down throw to up air is a kill combo at low%. He does need to be nerfed because when he's one of the only characters in the game that has 0 lag in a game where almost everyone else has it on something it's busted. Top 3 should be 1. Sheik 2. Pikachu 3. Diddy

I still agree she's by no means on top though.

Dark Pit above Pit. They are virtually identical, except Dark Pit has a worse Side B (kills far later), and an inexplicably worse side tilt. Yeah, moving along.

Y'know, as I play more and more of Smash 4, I'm realizing that while they removed edgehogging, they seem to have put a lot of time and effort into making gimping both easier and more worthwhile with more characters. I'm not one of the crowd who insisted edgehogging was unfair, nor do I miss it at all, but from my experience so far, a more advanced gimp game has turned out to be a lot more interesting. I can't wait to see where it goes competitively.

I think Sheik's better than Diddy personally. It absolutely has something to do with the fact that Diddy's a conspicuous and funny-looking monkey that he's getting all the attention on this.
