it just drains the fun out of the game and makes me want to put down the 3ds for a while
It sounds really mean but they should do something about people doing very consistent combos/patterns and only those, spamning the same moves and never doing new tactics. It gets really annoying on FG.
Moves going stale is supposed to help with that, but it really doesn't help enough.
Yoshi is so fun, he's such a happy character, I get happy just by playing him even if I loose most of my games.

Problem is the matches for me are either very trivial or impossible for me to win against. They either are very predictable or something that I don't know how to counter.
Sadly, there are a lot of tactics in Smash4 that are both very predictable and difficult to counter; you can read it seconds incoming and go for a punish, but that punish leaves you wide open to something else of theirs. Sometimes you're inevitably some degree of fucked no matter what you do, and that's frustrating.
It really just comes down to reaction timing.
Like some players literally telegraph what they're going to do. But if you can't land a punish within the small-digit frame opening you'll just have to endure.

New classic mode is such bullshit, and so is master fortress.
I completely forgot master fortress was a things and couldn't tell if I was winning or not.
Samus with muscles and not-large breasts is a much better design for a 6'4 bounty hunter with giant bipedal bird alien DNA than a skinny girl in high heels

Funnily enough, some people responded to her that it wasn't "canon" that she's so muscley in the picture. Needless to say she's looking for a way to refer to samus both as metroid and a man just to piss these same people off.

Coaching should be limited at saying a 1-liner that's either advice or a joke about the opposing character, then having the coach take a chomp out of a chocolate bar.

god damn was samus always drawn like this in awkward zombie. like i don't hate it, it's more like realizing you have a freckle under your arm you never saw before and being shocked that you never noticed it.

the issue is apparently people take forever to coach, and also that better players get more of an advantage from having their pal M2K tell them what to do, as opposed to joe schmo asking bobby nobody if pikachu is good against kirby
Classic mode constantly (CONSTANTLY) dropping blast boxes, explosive boxes/capsules and deku nuts right in front of me as I'm charging a smash attack is getting really old.
It also dropped a bob-omb on me while I was charging an aura sphere as Lucario. Twice.

In other news, I may be late, but I finally beat that damned "Clear Classic on 9.0 without losing a life" challenge as Yoshi w/o customs. I never thought I would be so annoyed by 6-8 player matches and items set to high ever. Nearly got a headache from it but it felt sooooo good completing it.

She's drawn that way in two out of the three comics I found that had ZSS.
