The Rayman 3 transformations would also make for good alts. Even just as palette swaps, since that's mostly what they were anyway.
His moves will involve Rabbids. Or a Rabbid assist trophy. Or rabbid 'stage boss'. I knew Rayman was either planned for the game or would be DLC. I just knew because I have magical game guessing powers. Also that Nintendo Exec said he would be in the game and it made no sense that Ubisoft would make a trophy just for the game with that level of detail and not use it as AT LEAST an assist. But everybody told me I was being dumb. I now feel justified in my ignorant insistence.
I really hope this means more DLC characters will be planned in the future.
On the topic of Rayman music
Man I never realized how great the Rayman soundtracks are. Then again I'm guilty of never playing a single Rayman game.
This is exciting, I love Rayman
Fix that, the last two games are amazing. Also I don't think we're getting parody black betty or eye of the tiger guys :v:
apparently ubisoft will make an announcement about the situation on tuesday
Source? I am curious on why Ubisoft would announce this before Nintendo.

http://www.reddit.com/r/smashbros/comments/2vwncr/after_messing_with_the_rayman_leaks_in_photoshop/com5b0p I just wrote up a big post on how the leaked screenshots/footage break the order of the character select screen. I'm not saying this means it's fake because I really don't know, it's just my observations.
This is kind of random, but what would any of you that played these games recommend? - Both Origins and Legends, starting with Origins. or - Skip Origins and get Legends. I want to get a Rayman game at some point, but I don't know where to start.

But yeah do what ILBoxes said and start off with Rayman 2 it's really the best.

It aged super poorly but it's worth looking up a video or two (or just the intro) Rayman 2 is a 3D platformer with a absolutely amazing world. It's one of the best games on the n64 and got ported a thousand goddamn times to different systems. I honestly haven't gone back to play it recently to see how it's held up but for it's time it was godlike. Rayman 3 is a sequel to 2 that I didn't play. I heard it's pretty eh though. Origins: Return to 1 but without the kaizo difficulty. It's a absolutely amazing game with fantastic controls and gorgeous visuals. This is one of the best platforming games of all time in my honest opinion and it all comes to a head in one of the best challenge stages seen in a 2D game. Legends: Aims to improve everything Origins did and ends up tying with it. It introduces Murphy levels which are hit or miss (instead of platforming you guide a simple AI through a stage by reforming the stage as you go on) to go with normal platforming but it also offers a shitload of unlocakble costumes and other goodies to keep things fresh. It offers MOST of the Origins stages but not the final bonus level so that's a shame, and the final bonus stage of Legends is nowhere near as devious as Origins. There's also daily challenges that are randomized you can compete in online but honestly they get samey after you do a handful of them. Doesn't stop them from being super fun though. It basically lives up to Origins but is the exact same in terms of quality.

Origins is definitely worth playing, along with Legends and the others.
- Why would Nintendo have Rayman after Ubisoft broke the deal with Rayman Legends, and other stuff?
In the end, Ubisoft did a lot to help the Wii U, even if it didn't succeed like they wanted it to be. Also Rayman already has a trophy in this game.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaoB7lnOiXM Confirmed fake.
Fuck.
Well boys, the party's over, time to go home.
Impressive work though.
Best fake. Now I wonder what Ubisoft will say.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaoB7lnOiXM Confirmed fake.
This guy must have a lot of time on his hands.....
That dedication tho.
I'm tired of people being dicks just because they can
I'm dead.
As much as it was impressive, I still hate the guy for doing this.
That was a great fake, can't be mad about that.
Best fake. Now I wonder what Ubisoft will say.
"Damn we were excited to :(" [editline]15th February 2015[/editline] Just noticed this is the same guy that did the Klonoa fake. That's hilarious.
