How is the singleplayer in this one? Despite it's shortcomings, I found BF3's singleplayer to be very enjoyable

The first lmg is pretty cool. 200 bullets, I usually die before I even have to reload.
You could also just play engineer for a while, unlock carbines, and use those on support.
Fuck yeah, you can throw an ammo box into the attack boat, so repair dude can use his AA/RL as much as he want.

The one thing that frustrates me to no end is the "Skill" System.
I [b]constantly[/b] crash, and whenever i do i usually don't rejoin because when you do that it deletes any previous stats you had for that round and restarts. So if i was doing good and had a really good KD and SPM, i don't rejoin. The thing is, since i'm not there for half the match, i ALWAYS lose skill. I crashed on Shanghai (like fucking everyone does) the other night, decided not to rejoin the server and lost 33 skill because of it. Mother fuck

The SCAR is so good. I feel like it's what DMRs are supposed to be. It's super accurate and with its high damage excels at long range where even at range it takes only like 2-3 shots to drop someone.

Yes. AK 5C can outgun any weapon up to 150m due to a little to no recoil and spread.
The gunplay is kinda weird because of poor network optimization.
btw DICE are bad at balancing.

I just noticed this too. Last game I clearly had enough points to rank up to rank 10, yet when I look at my profile I'm 1,300 points under.
Same thing in another game, where I got over 30,000 points, yet the battle report shows only 25,000 points gained.

The m416 is seemingly better than the m16a4 (which is what is in the game), and I am doing pretty good with it so I assume it is one of the best guns in the game.

The ACE 23 is statistically the best gun in the game, and compared directly to the M16A3 in BF3 it is identical, aside from having a slightly slower fire rate which i personally like over a faster fire rate.

AEK-971. In their infinite wisdom they made it even better than the BF3 version. More accurate, less recoil.
Don't listen to Hammer, he has delusions about the AK5C and believes 0.3 deg is considered a small amount of spread in Battlefield. What he doesn't know is that at 150m that gives you a spread diameter of 78 cm on the first shot.
