Is it okay if I use this as my Steam avatar? :v:
You're better off using an actual image of it.
Wow what the fuck, I am blind. Wait, how do you do that?
Just click and drag that square that's sticking out.
It is indeed a sad day when you revive more people than the rest of your team and the enemy team combined:
I've been crashed by the paddles, I won't carry them.

I used to be a dedicated medic, and had at least like 10 revives every round of BF3. Now im lucky to get 2.
They said revive time is much shorter in the beta than the final game. Now you got like 3 seconds do revive someone. EDIT: Here is the tweet; https://twitter.com/Demize99/status/387116954215268352
now that i can actually play the game without dropping to 5 fps every other frame, this is so much better than bf3 it's not even funny. i really didn't think they'd be able to fix the netcode without raising server hardware requirements to unattainable heights but they did and it's great. people i shoot at actually die, the gun sounds are a lot better and more varied, animations seem smoother and more solid, everything generally seems more improved. the only thing i don't really like is the wheeled vehicle controls because it feels like my guy can't turn the wheel fast at all so when i turn right from holding left it takes a second to get there, just doesn't feel very good. i'm really happy with the beta overall though.

Hopefully that won't be the case in the final game.
Obliteration is intense, I love it, the fighting is so concentrated around the bomb you can hardly notice its 32 players. I wish drop points were randomized around the map to avoid it becoming TOO intense. This, along side conquest and rush, should be standard in every BF game 'til the end of times, period. BF4, though it is a bit dry on content for a full release price, feels like a more solid base to expand on (like borderlands 2 in relation to border 1) w/ spectator mode, the command structure, voip, and all that crap they took away in 3 and putted back in to say it was new :p And I'm getting the same kind of excitement that kept me playing 3 for 220+hrs, so I guess I'll buy eet  Also, since they are going after e-sports, I imagine OOB will be awesome on competitions.
Just wish that the game would remember the class you used in the last round. I can't count the number of times I've jumped into a game and forgot to change to Engineer. MX4 is ballin' yo.
Why is there no death animation.
Just wish that the game would remember the class you used in the last round. I can't count the number of times I've jumped into a game and forgot to change to Engineer. MX4 is ballin' yo.
As much as I like the SCAR, I've moved on with my life.
SinglePlayer Data that has also been dumped together in the beta Have yet to load it but will post screenshots
maps that will be in the beta credits to cra0kalo
Beta ends in a few days, they're not going to release all of those maps by then.
Beta ends in a few days, they're not going to release all of those maps by then.
I guess its left over content they were lazy to remove but the data is there

You can get the intro and options menu just by launching the beta with Origin in offline mode, no "hacking" necessary...
So thanks to the new patch, using the newest nvidia beta driver makes BF4 (and all my other games) run at 5fps after a few minutes (this has been happening before the bf4 beta came out), while rollback the driver fixes this issue in other games, BF4's new patch makes the game crash after loading the level on any driver version that's not the new beta one. Specs: Windows 8.1 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3610QM NVIDIA Geforce 630M 8GB RAM
So after I headshot 3 snipers in a row from the tower in the middle, the game decided to just reveal to me its secret guns. It literally spammed me with gun mastery dogtags for every fucking gun in the game and it wouldn't stop until the map changed. Don't worry your M16A4 and your M4 and your Famas and your Aug A3, and your 1911, and your 45 Compact, and your Glock18 and your dozen sniper rifles are in the game.
I wish the class last used would automatically be selected at the start of a new game.
I hate snipers in games like Battlefield. I get that they want to cater to all play styles, but seriously, if you are sitting on a rooftop shooting at people occasionally you are doing nothing to help your team and should just change classes. I've just finish playing the new game mode and every single loss can be attributed to the players that I described above. Even in conquest they can't help, the only use the sniper class is is with a carbine, C4, and the laser designator.
I don't agree that the sound design is better this time around. Sure, BF4 has some higher quality sounds than BF3, but the overall soundscape feels muted and dead. I mean, compare what you hear during a fight over a cap in BF3 to BF4. It's much less 'full' sound in BF4. Then compare BF3 and 4 to Bad Company 2 and realize how much worse DICE's sound design has gotten since that game. Seriously, BC2 War Tapes is godly.
the only use the sniper class is is with a carbine, C4, and the laser designator.
My absolute favorite class now. I've unlocked the DMR's, and gotten the ACOG for the first one. I don't know what it is about the first DMR, but I'm not sure I like it. Recoil seems a little wacky, might be how I'm using it though. I think I was trying to run and gun like I was using a carbine, which makes the recoil so much worse, and the bullets not seeming to go where my iron sights are pointing.
You can get the intro and options menu just by launching the beta with Origin in offline mode, no "hacking" necessary...
the "hack" part of it was avoiding battlelog altogether not actually getting into the options menu
When you don't move it's a rape cannon though. I was sitting in the elevator to go up the tall building by D(not C) to see if any teammates were going to roll with me to take out some campers, and 4 guys from the other team jumped me. I got all of them with the DMR. :v: [editline]10th October 2013[/editline] merge [editline]10th October 2013[/editline] Damn. Made my computer hard lock. Had to restart. :( Just parachuted down and hopped in a tank a bunch of enemies had abandoned on B. Jumped in and started shooting, for some reason none of them noticed that I was killing all of them. Then it froze.
Why is there no death animation.
Because the death animation in Battlefield 3 drove people crazy. There's also no need for one, if you're shot to death with a rifle you're probably dead before you hit the ground anyway, may aswell give the player some feedback.
I wish the class last used would automatically be selected at the start of a new game.
Demize already stated in the first few days of the beta that this is fixed in the full game.
i disagree the sound when you're on top of C and both teams are fighting over it is seriously overwhelming, also the firing sound of the U-100 is fucking incredible
That ominous rumbling sound when you're on top of C and one of the pillars gets shot makes me nearly piss my pants every time.
