I don't like how they butchered Javelin to make MBT LAW bullshit.
Hm. My only suggestion to improve the SRAW would be to increase the in-scope lens size. It's hard to track at anything less than 50 meters and anything within the range of 125 meters to 250 meters. I also suggest buffing every RPG's damage to non-armored vehicles, and change out the LAW for the RPG as the first RPG for the Engi Class.

Why are there so many launchers in this game that aren't the Carl Gustav?

Remembering back to Bad Company 2, everyone hated it cause of how good it was
It made the best noises and then everyone died.

fucking gustav man
so many skillshots done with that beast
..but then at4 got a buff and taking down helis became cheap as fuck
Don't get me wrong, i loved the thing. My favorite rocket launcher Ive used in any BF game
BF4 (and 3 too) really needs rockets that both fly fast and do lots of damage, this way taking down air vehicles will require actual skill and none of that bullshit lock on (maybe for air to air missiles only)

The SRAW is pretty much the present AT4 in BC2, but with easier control.

Use the SRAW. It does require quiet a bit of skill to lead off, but if it hits, it's game over for any helicopter flying near ground or has some of it's HP missing.
Decided to play a few rounds to see if they fixed the performance yet (i5-2500k and GTX570, completely unplayable during the beta) and i'm running at a near solid 60fps now for some reason (although i changed from Win7 to 8.1 and moved BF4 to my SSD, holy shit the loading times are so fast).
I was playing hardcore domination on flood zone i believe, me and a support guy saw an enemy run into one of those wooden sheds and he proceeded to just mow down the entire wooden structure with his LMG, reminded me again why this game is so fucking amazing

I need to unlock it first, I just got my rpg-7
Also unlocking things in general feels weird in this game, it's both easy and hard for me :v: some things are just "uuuuuurgh I played for a full day and I only got to 1/20 of what I need to unlock thing", some are "woah that's it I unlocked everything already?"

This is how I feel about the Marksman Ribbons required for Recon Expert ;_;

Hah, what the hell?
I've seen rockets orbit helicopters before as you laser them but I've never seen it just orbit nothing in the sky

this is how I feel about stealth jets
my other feeling is "why I'm trying to do something in this piece of crap when there are attack jets available and perfectly capable of wrecking shit "
seems like if it loses its target, it may hold its current trajectory in a last-ditch effort to hit something if it thinks it was aimed right
also I finally got the premium pack this morning, just filled out the remainder of the premium portraits and emblems
I actually found the 'test range' quite useful, getting used to how vehicles handle in the game.
From there I optimised my keyboard layout, changing little things such as assigning a toggle gadget/primary key on the side of my mouse (for instant noob-tube/rpg moments) and assigning it to switch between primary and secondary weapons in vehicles.
Also I found switching to burst mode is way more efficient at longer ranges. Now I just need to find a way to toggle burst/auto instantly rather than cycling through firemodes (v button) :v:
Test range is really good, wish there was more map to it though, tall buildings and such so i coudl practice helicopter barnstorming.
nice to get a feel for all the weapons though

excuse me? hitting helis with an rpg is piss easy if youre close enough and its mostly a one hit kill.
Could anybody name me any Graphics Cards that run BF4 on ultra with the price range of 300€.
Lol

the new 700 series from nvidia are like in the 300-400$ price range now and atm im running at like 50-60 fps with a 670, so just choose either or.

I don't think even SLI Titan can run this game optimally right now.

Also I not long bought a Phantom 770 from overclockers.co.uk (i think they ship to EU) for like £240 which is not bad considering you get new batman, assassins creed and splinter cell for free
-fuck me I was on the wrong page-
I'm running a GTX 580 and I run the game solidly on high. I could run ultra, but it had a slight impact on my framerate, so I just bumped it down out of preference.

Why not? I heard BF4 had some bugs and crash issues but is the game just shittyli optimized? Considering my PC only needs a new Graphic card for BF4 to run on ultra i might consider something cheaper than 200 in that case....

The GeForce 770 GTXs are now at a $350 price range and are only one step down from Nvidia's current flagship the 780. I'm probably going to buy one eventually as Battlefield 4 is the only game I have that I can't comfortably run on high.

honestly ram, an SSD, and win 8 makes all the difference in the world. maybe im just lucky and can run on max with just win 7, installed on a hard drive, and a 670 :v:.

It has bugs and crash issues and is poorly optimized but I'm not sure how much of that is Dice's optimization and how much of it is lack of current driver support from Nvidia. Like I've said before, even my old 460 should be able to run this on high, infact I can, I get a good FPS except for the random stuttering.
I'm guessing once some new drivers are released, the stuttering will be fixed and I can run it on high properly. However the price of that 770 is pretty damn good. May want to grab a new card before it becomes christmas.

I was thinking of getting it actually on christmas, who knows.
I'm running it on High with a 7850, but it seems that I crash more than my friends, donno if its the card or just the game fucking me over.
