it's even easier in attack jets since they don't tend to have a pilot who uses a heli like a taxi and bails with like 3 more people in it
Yea, I mean its not that hard.
.... what? how is that bullshit at all? If you honestly can't get 10 kills with an attack jet in a round, and a cumulative 50 vehicle kills, then you don't deserve that. i'm actually kind of pissed off they didn't make a lot of the medals and dog tags harder to get, in MW2 getting the Nuke emblems and some of the killstreakless emblems would take forever. not because you had to grind it out, but because doing it was so difficult. In BF3 basically all of the medals and dog tags are just grinds. I'd rather have a dog tag that anyone can get in say one round, but perhaps make it something ridiculous like get 30 kills and die 0 times in a single round. Or finish the round with a certain KD, 15.0 or something. EDIT: Here's an example of how easy it can be to do that veteran aircraft requirement. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/battlereport/show/1/399256589183028480/250234167/ That's a single match, if i hadn't unlocked that already i would have had the vehicle kills basically halfway done (20 vehicles killed in that round) and the 10 kills in a round requirement done already. It's seriously not that difficult, which i don't like at all
I can't fly at all. The only flying stuff i'm perfect with is Transport Heli.
Could anybody name me any Graphics Cards that run BF4 on ultra with the price range of 300€.
I have a gtx 660 ti and I can run the game on ultra in a range of 55-75 fps. [editline]11th November 2013[/editline]
I can't fly at all. The only flying stuff i'm perfect with is Transport Heli.
Just go on siege of shanghai with a friend piloting the transport heli and just strafe C when the enemy controls it. Guaranteed to rack up the kills.
If you cant jump into the gunner seat on a transport heli and kill 10 guys, your bad.
whenever I spawn into the gunner seat of a transport it's usually in the process of landing upside-down on a building
Then my game is broken, it doesn't count any of my Heli Gunner/Gunship kills.
32 player servers with littlebirds are so fun. I get a false sense of skill when I'm able to maneuver through the streets in Shanghai and kill everything.
whenever I spawn into the gunner seat of a transport it's usually in the process of landing upside-down on a building
Yea, well if you're lucky enough to spawn into one thats not being piloted by a recon then you're good to go.

I agree that the whole ribbon requirements are pretty fucking lame, but having that sort of difficulty is just dumb. I liked some of the assignments in BF3 where you had to do either something interesting, or something risky in order to get a weapon/whatever. The engineer one comes to mind where you had to repair an enemy vehicle to death. Achievements that are difficult to get because it's either really hard to do, or a really rare opportunity to accomplish would be even more rewarding. Like using the Defib to kill enemy medics, or using c4 or a claymore to booby trap an ammo supplier, using a DMR to kill the pilot of a helicopter or something. Assignments for/camos/weapons/dogtags that require you to do that sort of stuff would be pretty fun.
What is this and how do I fix it. Already updated Punkbuster for BF4, didn't help. Edit: removed pb folder from BF4's install directory. Ran the exe in the __Installer/punkbuster directory. Updated punkbuster. Fixed it.
Weapons built on burst fire (M16, M4) should have much lower first shot penalties. That completely kills them at long range where they're supposed to excel, and makes the angled foregrip absolutely essential to doing well with them. Burst fire feels like a handicap. Either your first shot is dead and you waste your second and third shots, or you do the opposite where you waste your first shot so you can recoil and hit correctly with the next two.
What's the point of SLAMs compared to the normal AT mines?
What's the point of SLAMs compared to the normal AT mines?
They can stick to surfaces, including the vehicles. So you can put it on a wall or a tree instead of on the road and they're harder to spot - or you can run up and basically use them as motion activated C4 for the engineer class and put them on the vehicles.
Anyone else experiencing freezing on ps3? It does it every time I spawn now, not just every now and then :(
What's the point of SLAMs compared to the normal AT mines?
You can throw them just like C4.
How stuttery is the game right now? Could i play it smoothly on medium if my PC allows it?
PB lifted over 200 bans. Could this be because of Fairfight? Anyone know what happened? http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-overview-bf4-ov44.html
Yea, well if you're lucky enough to spawn into one thats not being piloted by a recon then you're good to go.
reminds me of a match on saturday, playing on Zavod, Conquest Large. I spawned into a heli that was taking some fire from the ground and everyone bailed instantly, and I managed to hop into the driver's seat because I had my hand on the F-keys initially to change to a passenger spot for repairs. I maneuvered it shoddily toward the central buildings, alarms twerping loudly as I fought to spot a safe place to land and as I approached the rooftop I spotted an engineer come up off a ladder to the roof and whip out his rocket launcher. Knowing the heli wouldn't make it in its current state (and knowing I didn't have passengers), I dropped flares and accelerated full force in his direction, lifting slightly as I progressed, then slamming down on top of him in a fiery explosion we both were laughing it up in chat, first time I've really just had a 'that was awesome' conversation with an enemy pub, pretty fun
That feeling when you shoot a wall with your RPG7 to make a breach for your teammates and suddenly get a kill.
Trading 3 copies of Arkham City GOTY and Scribblenauts Unlimited, aswell as Fallout New Vegas Ultimate, all on Steam. For this wonderful game :)
Anyone else crashing during games?
That feeling when you shoot a wall with your RPG7 to make a breach for your teammates and suddenly get a kill.
that feeling when you run into two enemies, shoot a rpg7 rocket at the floor and all you get is a hit marker and a mouthful of lead
Anyone else crashing during games?
yes, I'm having a hard time staying on servers.
yes, I'm having a hard time staying on servers.
I'm updating my drivers right now, hoping that'll help. I crash like halfway through rounds.

I got a whopping 2 kills but it was fun.
I'm updating my drivers right now, hoping that'll help. I crash like halfway through rounds.
I had LOTS of crashes/freezes/disconnects. Can't even ping servers on BL now.
That feeling when you shoot a wall with your RPG7 to make a breach for your teammates and suddenly get a kill.
I really missed doing this in Bad Company 2. They've thankfully brought it back, but it's significantly toned down from before.
Only crash that I get now is the freeze with skipping sounds.
the game is unplayable now.
Are smart rockets for attack helis not working atm, or is there some trick to actually using them?
Are smart rockets for attack helis not working atm, or is there some trick to actually using them?
You mean like the SA-IGLA? Keep the sights over the aircraft until it hits.
