I'm pretty sure they said you'll get a battlepack with every rank in the full game. Though I'd have to look it up to be sure.

I was so fucking amazed when the elevator actually turned out to be a teleporter - when I pressed the button and the objective meters number did not change I thought it was just lag, but when I immediately respawned(I noticed it by the change of lightning and animation reset) it was a disappointment. :(

In my opinion it is a fucking bullshit to have guns and attachments unlocked by random drop. Fine with camo and dogtags, they are mostly cosmetic, but not guns and attachments, damit!
For the most part, all the attachments you unlock through battlepacks ARE cosmetic.
Except for guns like the Type 88 where the only laser sight is the green one.
That might be an oversight on Dice's part. :shrug:

I saw a tank tank 5 rockets to the front and keep going. I've seen tanks destroyed in 2 hits from a grenade launcher. You need to be aware of your positioning a lot more than BF3.
Also, no one seems to know that the driver of a tank can press F to switch to the coaxial machinegun. I've killed and terrified so many engineers who were expecting to dodge shells.

The bit I've played today (Computer troubles until today) has made me change my mind about the game, it's fixed all the dumb problems I had with BF3, like Voip, or a confusing map/spawn menu, or the loadout menu being a mess etc. That, and I'm SO glad that targeting is a default unlock.

On the Xbox 360, Battlefield 3's spot button was the back button, which I was quite used to.
In Battlefield 4, they made the back button open battlelog, which is the worst possible thing ever. The spot button is now right bumper, which used to be knife.

I still need to get used to it, but I like it. If they will fix the recoil, milisecond scoping and let us unlock scopes through killing people with gun not opening battlepacks then it will be fucking great. I am real poor now to afford this game though. :(
I wish i could destroy 80% of the other skyscrapers around siege of shanghai, because of those snipers...you have no idea how annoying that is.
