I do have them but the assignments and guns don't show up on Battlelog, the only way I know I have them is ingame.
Yeah, I think the last patch someone borked it and release the guns early maybe?
Not sure, I have that British Assault rifle, even though the assignment says I still need to do it, even though I have. Think I also got the MTAR aswell but really not my kind of gun.
They're not visible on battlelog but fully customizable in game and usually when I restart the game it resets my L85 back to the AK-12
lol they STILL haven't fixed the crashing on shanghai problem yet? The game has been out for like, what, 3 weeks nearly? I've put over 70 hours into this game and no more than 15 minutes of them are on Shanghai because it crashes everyone still
I've had crashes but never seem to be any common maps for me. I can usually play most maps, I just get random crashes.
The AK5C is absurdly easy.

They did it within a few minutes of the game starting, causing over half of the server to crash, and making all of us unable to rejoin. I lost 30 fucking skill because of it

Fairfight in dayz is bad because of bad implementation, not because of the system itself.
Wierd, I've seen all the 'dynamic levelution' things go off with no crashes. Guess I'm lucky, not suprised it causes crashes though.

It sucks that it can't be transparent. There's no way that guy could of made that without a black background and clever use of black shapes.

But you can beat it in the same way. Just make your cheats act like a top tier player.
They've prevented blatant 180 snap nospread kinda cheating, but you can still ruin a server.
Jesus the hotel getting destroyed on Hainan Resort lags the FUCK out of the PS3 version.

Battlefield 4 in a nutshell. Shotguns in everymatch.
So I just stepped into an AA vehicle for the first time and wrecked shit, I unlocked 5 things for it in one match. I'm in love <3
Roadkilling Fisk with a little bird was so fucking statisfying that I poured soda all over my desk.

Nothing quite like getting killed by a guy coming around a corner, before he actually goes around the corner. Any ping above 60 is just a handicap. It really is. I was just in a server where this guy with 15 ping was topping the team of every match, literally because he could send packets to the server faster than anyone else, giving him a networked immunity to bullets.
The networking is completely crippling to the game. It can easily go from being playable to forcing you to run through mud up to your knees. You could put down your rocket so you could equip your primary, only for your rocket to show back up again. You could go prone because a tank MG is shooting at you, only to stand back up and die. This is the kind of shit that would make a masochist say the safe-word just to get it to stop.
Your crosshairs vanish almost immediately after you spawn. You could hit q and they'll return, but they'll vanish seconds later. If you try to auto-spawn and try to switch class just after the counter hits zero but just before you spawn, the game will crash.
What's with this 5 seconds of black screen when you even try to spawn? What, you could watch your squadmate's screen when you're dead, but you need to re-initialize the world when you spawn? You can't count how many times I've been shot or knifed in the back, waiting for the damn game to take the blindfold off once I spawn on a friendly.
How could a game like this be allowed through certification? There is no way ESRB would play through this, and not mark it B for BUGGY. How is it fine for a game to charge between $60 - $120, and yet you would have to sacrifice your first born son just to play a round without the game killing itself?
I know you people will say "Oh it is a very large game, and there is no way they could find all bugs". I've said it myself. Being a large game is understandable with bugs, but this game should not be allowed the luxury of exception. Visually there is almost zero difference from Battlefield 3. The movement, the shooting, the vehicles, everything is copied over.
If you were to build this game from the ground up, then I would be a bit more lenient, but this is literally the same game with some new weapons and "Levolution!". There shouldn't be so many issues like this, but there are. When will they be fixed? Hell, I don't know, but you should definitely pre-order that next DLC that they are putting all their effort into.
I mean, hell. We can even use guns that are intended for DLC. I have the L-85A2 on my medic right now, yet Battlelog says it doesn't exist. Why? Because it's not supposed to. What does this mean? Well, it means one or a combination of those below.
1) We are paying for a gun that should have been in the game to begin with. I mean, you can already use it for christ sake.
2) We are paying for a gun that was already in the last game, which they just copy+pasted over.
3) They are spending more time on DLC than they are on fixing the game.
Goddamn.
I guess the real reason I'm so frustrated is that I've tricked myself again. My naivety to how much game developers and publishers care these days is costing me my patience and my sanity. This is what the industry has become. You sell a video game early, you sell it incomplete, and you get away with it because "It's a beta!" or "It will be patched!". I should have learned after Minecraft to never ever buy a game until it is finally released, and never to buy it with the expectation it will be fixed later on.
Games in 2013 are incomplete. They are broken. They are schlock. But worst of all, we will keep buying them, because we have made it clear that this is okay. This, gentlemen, is what we have done to our beloved video games. We have allowed this to happen, and we are the ones to suffer through it. We have said that it is okay for them to sell us an incomplete game, and that we will buy a slice of the pie, even though we already bought the whole damn pie.
This is just so fucked.

Now that you're done with your essay, mind explaining what you did to fuck your copy up so much?
Honestly I must be the luckiest man in battlefield, because most of these problems Ive experienced maybe a few times.
Yeah the net-code is bad but you can avoid this by doing a few things:
a. pick server very near to where you live
b. pick server with a smaller player number, I typically enjoy 32 player servers and seek them out.
c. pick a legit looking non-official server, as the official servers seem to suck.
d. do some of the net-code improving tips that are floating around, as they actually work from my experience.
Crashing... I've heard a lot of people complain about this but since release (not counting beta) Ive crashed like what, maybe four or five times in the entirety of my play-time.
The black screen is a bit stupid yes but I rarely die from the black screen regardless.
Cross-hairs disappearing? Never had that, are you playing hardcore servers by accident or something?
Yes I know about the whole 'if it doesn't happen to me it doesn't happen to anyone' thing so you don't need to shove it in my face, but seriously Ive had nothing but good times with BF4, and it confuses me every time I see all the doom and gloom.
Plus with the whole 'weapons available early' thing, how does this possibly show to you that it was packaged with the game? It was only really discovered after a recent patch which means obviously they're sneaking parts of it in early to try and make the download less of a hassle, and regardless, how does like 4 or 5 weapons suddenly mean the entire dlc is finished and already in the game?

I had no idea who he was when i posted the picture, but i looked him up and he seems like a massive douche. In fact he has some sort of e-rivalry between my buddy i was talking about in that post (Delrith) and it's kind of entertaining to see how childish he is
Oh I remember Delrith from PS2 when we galaxy bombed his outfit on stream.

Ahaha holy fuck that's awesome. I miss playing PS2, sucks that so many good players and outfits disbanded. Yeah Delrith is a pretty good guy, was surprising to see someone express such a childish hatred towards him. Made me laugh

Haha yeah. I really needed to get a lot of it off of my chest. Most of the time I can be fairly tolerable of game bugs and the like, but when I get in a bad mood, I can turn into an FPS_Doug at the slightest hint of lag or error. Really it's my fault for getting mad at video games.
The crosshair bug is something that only really affects shotguns and PDWs if you like to hip-fire a lot. I can't really describe to you an instance of when it would happen, just because it happens so frequently that it becomes its own problem. I even confuse myself as to whether I am on a hardcore server, but when I hit Q to spot something, it will always come back.
There are other problems with this game that I forgot to mention, such as keys randomly not working. Often when I am driving a RHIB or a helicopter, I'll just slow down to a stop without realizing that the game just decided to think I let go of the W key. Its gotten me killed loads, and yet it only seems to happen in BF4.
It is a fair point that I've got no evidence as to them packaging or finishing the game with DLC components already finished. It just frustrates me to see them spend time on new stuff when the normal stuff doesn't run the way it should for people like me. I am not very happy when I have to fight the game to get an experience that someone else gets easily, and to see that the people that can fix it spend their time on DLC instead. (Yes I know there is more than one working at DICE, but there usually shouldn't be new things added to code when troubleshooting old bits.)
I have a very strong feeling that once they realize the guns like the L-85 are released to everyone when they shouldn't, they will remove it and make us pay for it to use it again. And that kind of shit just kills me inside.

Big time PS2 player in the race for BR 100 etc. etc. also one of the top BF4 player in terms of score and rank (before he got reset)
So the PS4 version has 64 players, correct?
