Nothing quite like getting killed by a guy coming around a corner, before he actually goes around the corner. Any ping above 60 is just a handicap. It really is. I was just in a server where this guy with 15 ping was topping the team of every match, literally because he could send packets to the server faster than anyone else, giving him a networked immunity to bullets.

The networking is completely crippling to the game. It can easily go from being playable to forcing you to run through mud up to your knees. You could put down your rocket so you could equip your primary, only for your rocket to show back up again. You could go prone because a tank MG is shooting at you, only to stand back up and die. This is the kind of shit that would make a masochist say the safe-word just to get it to stop.

Your crosshairs vanish almost immediately after you spawn. You could hit q and they'll return, but they'll vanish seconds later. If you try to auto-spawn and try to switch class just after the counter hits zero but just before you spawn, the game will crash.

What's with this 5 seconds of black screen when you even try to spawn? What, you could watch your squadmate's screen when you're dead, but you need to re-initialize the world when you spawn? You can't count how many times I've been shot or knifed in the back, waiting for the damn game to take the blindfold off once I spawn on a friendly.

How could a game like this be allowed through certification? There is no way ESRB would play through this, and not mark it B for BUGGY. How is it fine for a game to charge between $60 - $120, and yet you would have to sacrifice your first born son just to play a round without the game killing itself?

I know you people will say "Oh it is a very large game, and there is no way they could find all bugs". I've said it myself. Being a large game is understandable with bugs, but this game should not be allowed the luxury of exception. Visually there is almost zero difference from Battlefield 3. The movement, the shooting, the vehicles, everything is copied over.

If you were to build this game from the ground up, then I would be a bit more lenient, but this is literally the same game with some new weapons and "Levolution!". There shouldn't be so many issues like this, but there are. When will they be fixed? Hell, I don't know, but you should definitely pre-order that next DLC that they are putting all their effort into.

I mean, hell. We can even use guns that are intended for DLC. I have the L-85A2 on my medic right now, yet Battlelog says it doesn't exist. Why? Because it's not supposed to. What does this mean? Well, it means one or a combination of those below.
1) We are paying for a gun that should have been in the game to begin with. I mean, you can already use it for christ sake.
2) We are paying for a gun that was already in the last game, which they just copy+pasted over.
3) They are spending more time on DLC than they are on fixing the game.

Goddamn.

I guess the real reason I'm so frustrated is that I've tricked myself again. My naivety to how much game developers and publishers care these days is costing me my patience and my sanity. This is what the industry has become. You sell a video game early, you sell it incomplete, and you get away with it because "It's a beta!" or "It will be patched!". I should have learned after Minecraft to never ever buy a game until it is finally released, and never to buy it with the expectation it will be fixed later on.

Games in 2013 are incomplete. They are broken. They are schlock. But worst of all, we will keep buying them, because we have made it clear that this is okay. This, gentlemen, is what we have done to our beloved video games. We have allowed this to happen, and we are the ones to suffer through it. We have said that it is okay for them to sell us an incomplete game, and that we will buy a slice of the pie, even though we already bought the whole damn pie.

A good ping doesn't give you a networked immunity to bullets. It means you can see people coming around corners earlier.

Latency alone doesn't make people appear to shoot you before they come around a corner either. Latency jitter and packet loss do.

After 100 you get into a private room on every server that has a button that let's you kill every player on the server.

After 100, you can prestige. Currently you aren't [i]supposed[/i] to be able to, but in an upcoming update (possibly china rising) they are putting it in. They accidentally patched it in and i've seen a few people prestige, you can go over 100 now.

In CoD prestiging basically resets you back to rank 1 so that you can go through the ranks once more, it increases the amount of time required to hit max level (overall) dramatically, and it gives people bragging rights in the form of a special rank emblem or somethin.

Was playing a really good server on breaking dawn, then literally half the server left when flood zone came up. I led my squad and carried our entire team the entire match. Went 30/12 scored like 10k in the match, but we lost by 4 tickets =(

They accidentally patched a few guns into the game in the most recent patch, MTAR included. You have to do certain "hidden" assignments to unlock them.

capped my night off with a crash, but got my KD ratio up to 3.94 and SPM is steadily increasing. losing skill randomly regardless of high SPM and KD ratio (i don't even know) so not really worried about that any more but gonna try to get ~800-1k SPM and 4.00KD ratio. will be easier once they fix the crashing
