Well that was a blast. Tank mayhem on Golmud was priceless. All these sweet "Designated Target Hit" and "Designated Target Destroyed". Soflam 4lyfe. And interesting thing - designated target receives additional damage from any sources, not only rockets.
Yet we had actual heli thing only twice :v:

Man. Who thought that it was a good idea to make players and vehicles only render within 100m if you run on low graphics settings? It is impossible to kill anything on the ground with the attack jet without someone else spotting for you. Little bird got you down? No problem, just guide me in so I can get within ramming distance before I can shoot.

[editline]19th November 2013[/editline] Buh, last server I was on was 64, conquest large with instant vehicle respawn. At one point we were in the AC-130, constantly cannon killing the enemy helo that spawns because as soon as it turned into the wreck model, a fresh one appeared on the pad and people kept getting in. Also Golmund railway is fucking stupid with instant vehicle respawn, more so than normal.
[QUOTE=be;42918917]That is debatable as fuck[/QUOTE] they're pretty much equal power but the lower price of the 7970 makes it a better choice dollar for dollar to do a pissing contest about its their raw capability is dumb, they'll both get the same stuff done and it would only boil down to comparing imperceptible nuances in how high you can overclock them. I should note that (though nobody seems to care much about the tech at the moment due to it being a gimmick in most games), only the 680 will take advantage of PhysX
I've been in situations where I could see people who were hiding behind cover because my draw distance didn't render the cover, but rendered the person. Seems exploitable if I could somehow figure out how to put the draw distance on objects to 0, and people to infinity.

We have Operation Locker, why do we need Metro again? Operation Locker has like 4-5 paths yet they're all still chokepoints so it's a pain in the ass, Metro is just terrible.

I played Operation Metro a lot. Not the shitty 64 man conquest spamfests, but the map was really enjoyable on 24~32 man Rush servers. I like how Rush really forces people to work together and play the objective. Unfortunately it feels a bit weak in BF4. Not sure why.

I disagree then but in my opinion I really thought Metro was just a chokepointy map where people would play 24/7 just to get kills and grind ranks. Fair enough if you enjoyed it, I just didn't. The reason why I like the majority of the BF4 maps is because of the various paths you can take through the levels and the vertical aspects to it all. Makes the maps a lot more interesting. Metro just felt like, run down 2 corridoors and get stuck there for the majority of the game. If you had a decent team you could get outside which is the only bit I enjoyed but that happened to be the last part of the level in rush and the hardest part to get to and one which you'd rarely see.

How is cratered bomb sites and no time limits still a thing in Obliteration? Does DICE just not know? Is it the fault of server owners? This game mode is unplayable.
