BFBC2 trailers were so good, BF3 and BF4 trailers have nothing on this:

The fuckin' bullshit this game pulls sometimes* is so aggravating. *All the fuckin' time.
fuck me, I remember waking up on the day of BC2 Vietnam DLC release, I was sooo pumped and played it for hours. hnnnggg
Oh man, these teams suck more fucking dick, than a fucking dick sucking hoover. Fucking suck dick fuck suck

In bf4 it's just machine translated phrases voiced by some Azerbaijani actor with a horrible accent, it hurts my ears
fuck me, I remember waking up on the day of BC2 Vietnam DLC release, I was sooo pumped and played it for hours. hnnnggg
I really loved BC2:Vietnam. I put so many hours into that. I really really hope a 2143 is in the works. The modern day setting is starting to get more worn out than WW2 shooters were 6-7 years ago

It's probably because a lot of the BFBC2 trailers depict one continuous battle instead of a jump to like 10 different fights.
This is probably my best round of lockers, even losing. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/battlereport/show/1/405164086512026176/861649579/ One memorable note was we were pushed back into E, The Tundra and Corridor were in their own right, a snipers best friend. Men did not run it for fear of being blinded alone by the glints, let alone shot. After watching my teammate kill, but die by the same man, in the room before the Hospital, I burst through the door leveling my M240B and sighting on the first man as he rushed me, gunning him down, as his body fell he revealed 4 members of his team in the next room over through a shattered wall, slugging the gun over, I brought it to bear Killing all 4, and a fifth that retreated from the opposite door to reload before tripping a claymore with my feet and leaving the room in a bright flash.
R9 series? It's written at the bottom right corner.
"Which GPU did you buy?" "nVidia 600 series" That's what you just did
I have BF4 on ps3 for free, but i got tired of the 24 player limitation, constant freeze and pretty low fps, bought it for pc, hope its worth it.
BFBC2 trailers were so good, BF3 and BF4 trailers have nothing on this:
Wow, re-watching these really makes me miss how much fun Bad Company 2 was to play with friends and also makes me ask the question: What happened to you DICE?
i really don't like how the cruise missile can be seen by the other team's commander it's already got a long travel time, long cooldown, and your team has to own the point plus it can be shut down via the proxy attack or a UAV EMP i'm fine with that but i don't think the other commander should be able to see my cruise missile and vice versa even when the commander would attempt to proxy + cruise, i would just yell at the targeted squad to GTFO and it would miss

Bad Company 2 was so good, still looks better than most "next gen" games. They did everything so right...
BF3 and 4 trailers tend to show more gameplay than the BC ones, the exceptions being the Battlefield Moments ones for BC2
To think that BFBC2: Vietnam was only $15... Vietnam itself was a whole new game, I really miss those days of gaming when not every game included a fucking season pass / premium membership
I miss the original Vietnam. spending 10-15 minutes as the VC crawling through rice paddies to set up a tunnel hole in some obscure corner of the map so you could quickly flood half a dozen flags and reign RPGs onto their base, AFTER planting C4 on the helicopters.
I think this video outclasses all of those:
It's good, but nowhere near the quality of the BFBC2 trailers. BF3 and BF4 trailers are pretty much just a mish-mash of cool action scenes stringed together without much thought. It works if you're already somewhat familiar with Battlefield but for someone new they might be overwhelmed or think that there's too much chaos and that they won't have fun because they don't know what to do. Heck, they might think that some of the moments are a bit far-fetched and staged and that there's no way those things happen regularly (even though it might actually happen often). The first two BFBC2 trailers are pretty genius. If you just analyze the first two trailers, you can see how well though-out they are. They do a great job of concisely conveying what you can do in the game and how awesome it can be, and the timing is just fast enough to keep the attention of the viewer, but just slow enough to put the focus on each different gameplay element. Imagine that you don't know anything about Battlefield but you're still familiar with online games and you're a pretty smart, and reasonably attentive person. What you get from the first trailer: -You'll fight in big, open maps (opening sequence and ending sequence); -You'll work with a tightly-knit squad (you see 4 guys sticking together and moving in unison); -There are different classes with different gadgets and weapons (on guy uses a sniper and C4, another a rocket launcher, another a grenade launcher and dart tracer); -Communication is a big part of the game, and you can lead your squad (they prepare the ambush, one guy clearly leads the others); -You can destroy things and use it to your advantage (one guy destroys a piece of concrete and shoots through it) or it can work against you (the communication tower falling on him); -You'll face armored vehicles, but you have the tools to destroy them (they destroy the IFV and Tank); -Through teamwork you can face unfavorable odds (they face double their numbers and two armored vehicles). -Keep yourself on your toes because the enemy just might return the favor (unaware enemies get steamrolled by the protagonists, but the roles get reversed at the end). -There are also helicopters you can pilot (so not only the enemies can pilot vehicles, but you might not have access to the same vehicles (think of Rush))! Then if you watch the second trailer: -You'll fight in different environments (desert in first trailer, snowy mountain in second); -You'll be able to use transport vehicles, big and small, armed or unarmed, on the ground or in the sky (Jeep, ATV and Black Hawk); -Emphasis on big, open maps again with lots of freedom of movement (valley, they land on a roof); -You'll need to destroy some kind of crate (Rush, and the action is more frantic than in the first trailer); -You can fight as either the Americans or Russians, but both seem to be equal (Russians kick ass in first trailer, and Americans do the same in second); -You can still make it even if you lose assets (destroyed helo); -You can revive your teammates; -You can call in airstrikes (technically true, if not accurate); -Cover is important, but fleeting. Don't rely on it (collapsed building). The Vietnam trailers don't do much to convey information, but if you bought BFBC2 already, it give you an awesome vibe about the atmosphere. It tells you "Like BFBC2, but in the old, lush jungles of Vietnam with no fancy gadgets, big dirty vehicles, loud guns and an enemy around every corner. Do you have what it takes?" The BF4 trailers turn up everything up to eleven, but at the same time they lost a lot of opportunities to convey important information. Maybe it makes it more appealing and flashy, but I liked that the BFBC2 trailers gave you more of a "slice of life" rather than a fast-paced diaporama of the most exciting bits. Plus you can see they put way more effort in those BFBC2 with all the custom animations they made for them. It doesn't make the trailers 100% accurate but I think it does a better job of telling you the most important pieces of info you might need to actually PLAY the game. Sorry for the long post, but studying and deconstructing those trailers pretty quick was fun.
The BF4 trailers turn up everything up to eleven, but at the same time they lost a lot of opportunities to convey important information.
I definitely agree, the BF4 trailers look like Michael Bay films, it's just clips of a bunch of crazy action with no information. However that doesn't make the trailer badass still, because it is, but BFBC2's trailers are better. [editline][[/editline] With all this Vietnam talk above, I wanted to post a video I used to really enjoy [editline][[/editline] Ok I feel really fucking retarded, I posted the same video I meant to meant to post a montage.
