What loading times? Do you mean the 7 second i have to wait on my ssd?
Also hammer you can't even spell my name right. And you can suck it because windows 8 is just faster and especially Nvidia gpu's gain performance in windows 8 over 7.

Of course everyone should buy an SSD just for this one game, they're so cheap! oh wait.. I have no loading time problems with any other game, there's no reason BF4 should take as long as it does to load. Especially when sometimes, I'll load a map within 30 seconds, then for no reason playing the same map on a different day, it'll take 1-2 minutes.
Also nobody wants to buy a new OS for one game either. I'm really not interested in windows 8, windows 7 works just fine. I can load Batman Arkham origins at full DX11, which is a massive city full of people faster than I can load BF4 on low, even on the small squad DM/TDM maps.
The only software issue is BF4 itself. If I could run the BETA on high at 60fps+ and load maps within 30 seconds but the retail release I have to run at low to get the same FPS with massive load times, then the problem is BF4.
Aside from planned upgrades, I'm not going to change my hardware for one game, especially if my hardware is far from obsolete.
I'm using that CPU too, works perfect but Battlefield 3 already takes up 70-100% CPU Usage. Don't know how it is with BF4.
Everything I have is fine. I'm assuming it's a RAM or VRAM problem (Or lack of it). I have 4Gb, and 1Gb VRAM. Then again, the game runs perfect at first, and setting everything to low doesn't help the issue at all. It's like a memory leak that opens the instant the game is started. That's IF I can get into the game at all because of that dumb DirectX CTD I keep getting (Even though I installed BF4's specific version of it) Maybe it's all the same problem. But so many people are having similar DirectX CTD's that I know it's not my end
The load times are also pretty terrible. I'm guessing it was much faster in Beta because Beta was what, two maps, and only those two maps + the multiplayer component. Now we have the campaign, all the Multiplayer maps and modes, and it's all lumped up in so few files. EA's been bad about having games that do that lately. TOR is especially bad about it. It pulls the files from one of those archives, and then writes those files temporarily elsewhere to then be used. It's like such a retarded way to do things when these files being pulled are Gigabytes in size
I remember when all the files that were going to be used were just files, organized in folders in the game Dir, and not in a compressed archive. If a game takes up 25Gb already, what's another 4 to 10 if it means load times are going to be halved, or more. I understand the reasoning for it for a Console version, where you have a disc and finite space, but we're moving past that even on consoles to digital only
Awesome site for emblems

Installing the game now, got it for a good price off GAME. Deluxe edition so I got 3 gold battlepacks with like 5 XP boosts - how do you use them?
It just took so long to load I got kicked for being idle just as I went to hit Deploy. What server puts their idle time to such a short amount, Jesus

when ingame, press esc, lower right corner
I fixed my DX error by taking this line out of the PROFSAV_profile file in Notepad. Have to do it before playing every time
GstRender.ResolutionHertz 0
But I still get MASSIVE stuttering. Completely unplayable. My system is only using 22% of my 4Gb of Ram, while BF4 is using 1.8Gb. So what the dicks. In between the stuttering and 2 to 10 second hangs, the framerate is absolutely perfect. And it doesn't start stuttering for a minute or so, even in a small map with all the assets loaded, it doesn't stutter, but the performance just decays, rapidly into toss
This is really fucking frustrating when the game decides to stop registering all your shots. Even in vehicles.
It was really painful to deal with LAV-tryhards with a knife and C4.
Oh and delicious 1hitkill from everywhere.

How's your CPU and GPU temps when you're playing?
Destroyed enemy BTR with RGO grenade. I saw mines on the ground, threw a grenade and out of nowhere - BTR-90! Stopped right above mines.
How's your CPU and GPU temps when you're playing?
55C CPU, 65C GPU under load. Temps are never an issue with me, I monitor that shit like a Nazi in a concentration camp because I'm always paranoid of overheating issues
I started trying the 32bit version instead of the 64bit and it runs WAY better. Framerate is the same, which is rock solid perfect, but the huge stuttering is gone. Now it's just Microstutters, lots of them, for the most part, with some 2 to 5 second hangs from time to time, usually when a big explosion goes off. Total system memory usage is only 72% so it isn't a RAM thing. Changing priority to High or Low didn't make a difference. It's still not playable though, but I did play through an entire round anyway. Ranked up to 3 in just that one game
Going from 64bit to 32bit making such a dramatic difference like that is pretty indicative of shit Q&A, I feel. Especially since I'm running all 64bit shit
I'll tackle the microstutter and random hangs later. I'm tired of messing with this shit
Did they fix that emblem exploit where you could upload your own picture?

I have loading times that take like 4-5 minutes on a med-high range computer. But I guess those times are incorrect because yours loads in 7 seconds, right?

I first had real microstutters yesterday, never before, and i think my gpu has a faulty voltage regulator or something, i get 80-90c at 100% fan and 100c+ in guild wars 2.
Who the fuck ever said that the AA is op? I've literally sat in it for the first time, and 6-7 active radar rockets and THREE FUCKING OVERHEAT BURSTS couldn't take down a blowtorch-whoring littlebird
Picked up BF4 last night, I'm loving it. It's beautiful. Is there a FP BF4 clan thingy?

There's no clan or squad system in this game. You just stick on some tags and off you go.

Be sure to unlock MTAR-21. I love that gun on Operation Locker.
An oblivious scout heli pilot on Flood Zone is literally worse than Hitler. Ugh people like this get me so mad.

Don't think thats possible anymore, they made China Rising a requirement.

Scout Heli in general is worse than Hitler in bf4.
Does anyone else sometimes wonder how much better or possibly worse your stats would be if the netcode was perfect? I usually have pretty fast reflexes but right now it doesn't really matter in this game.

come the fuck on, I just unlocked the SRAW as well
I created a user.cfg and loaded up a game to try it out. It ran flawless. Then the next map loaded and it was straight back to microstuttering and 2 second hangs
Time to make everything read only and try again

I'd had a k/d ratio of over 2.5 for sure. Right now it's slowly climbing towards 2.15
How is everyone loading their "share" videos? Any way to embed a facebook video?

Why would you remove that? It was the best method for getting rid of shitbucket pilots.
