Just don't knife people from the front, maybe make the counter a timed event, say 2-3 seconds to react or something like that, that'd be fine also.

if someone starts a knifing on your face and you hit knife before the counter button comes up you ruined your chance

Should be a timed event, if you press F too early or too late you fail the counter
Right now you have so much time to react that knifing from the front is the equivalent of suiciding

Nobody ever failed a counter knife against me (I just mash the knife button whenever someone's in range, it's hard to lose the habit), they really need to shorten the time you can do that, then
Does Dawnbreaker run exceptionaly poorly for anyone else? I randomly get huge FPS drops, more stuttering than usual, and overall worse performance on that map. Which sucks because it's such a nice blend of air, ground, and infantry :c Aside from the rooftop snipers and IGLA engies of course.
When I bought my new G-Card it didn't ship with BF4, now they're shipping it with a copy. Oh woe is me.

I don't think so. Somebody tried knifing me and as soon as I realized it (before the prompt came up) I mashed F and countered it.

Sooo yeah I just had over 50k base score on a server, no idea how much my real score was with 100% xp boost, but after I died it went to a black loading screen, then kicked me back to battelog, is this a bug, because I'm really pissed, now I can't seem to join any server.

Maybe it's because I've reassigned the knife key to one of my mouse buttons.
FYI the MBT LAW bypasses the APS. Might be a bug. Seems to work fine against all other projectiles.

Yeah, it might be on purpose since its missile is a ninja. It's actually cool, it makes the LAW worth using.
