Yeah how the fuck can they make an engine called frostbite and not make a sequel to a game where if it were real you'd pretty much be guaranteed to get frostbite
I actually liked sitting in the loading screens in BF2 because the music was so good.
Seriously, thinking back the loading times I used to endure while waiting to play with my friends were way longer than anything I'd consider remotely acceptable now, and yet I didn't even fucking mind it, especially on MEC maps with that iconic theme.
In fact, I used to get upset when it loaded faster and I couldn't hear the whole song
My pc was dog awefull back then, would hear the song about 2.5 times per load, didn't bother me in the slightest. Hate that we dont get load screens with music now really. :c

I always thought this song sounded similar to the battlefield theme, and especially the BF2 songs.

Just pre-ordered BF4 for the PS4. This will be my first BF game.
Anyhow, with my purchase I also will receive the first DLC(China Rising) and ''Goldpack 1''. What is the latter one? I have no idea.

Goldpack, or battlepacks basically give you weapon attachments as well as unique camos, objects for the emblem creater and unique dogtags.
Guys, didn't someone link a premium edition for like 40 euros? I can't find it.

cdkeyhouse.com sells it for around 70 euros.
All ingame items are fully attainable through battlepacks gained from xp though, so just get the normal bf4 edition if you're planning to buy premium later.
local store sells it for 107 US dollas, I'll just order it online instead.
Can you still unlock game earlier in EU by using VPN, like it was possible with BF3?

I'm digging how much the destruction of the levy changes it from favouring the infantry and ground vehicle and shifts it to boats and amphibious vehicles.
Also the close quarters to mid/long range in vary areas is cool too

SRAW from BF2 is back!
He killed an enemy across the map without any bullet drop/recoil/spread from an assault rifle.
What is that tripodded thing with red light that changes to green?

I really want to buy this game now, but I don't even hav money for it. fuck me
I need some sites other than GMG where i can preorder this, they're not sending out EU keys untill the 28th and im under the assumption i can VPN to fuck over the stupid godamn release date discrepancy. ideally i'd like to only pay £35.

Well I'm buying CD-keys from a russian retailer website, where BF4 is $35 and keys will be sent out on 29th, but the game itself will be russian(almost sure because my BF3 pre-order was russian).

Or they send out keys and let you pre-load, maybe.

It's the Support gadget which counters certain explosive projectiles in a radius around itself.
dat grenade throw
dat grenade throw
I rarely get any luck xploding someone when randomly throwing grenade and running away elsewhere.
Oh boy, Tiger stripe weapon camo. I'm not sure what to feel about that.
I wish my pc could run bf4 so smooth.
Even on all Low.
What's that thing he setup at 8:26? Does it help hold and capture the flag?
Iron fist system, active defense against missiles, rockets and incoming grenades, probably friendly ones too.
After activation works for a certain period, then deactivates and rearms itself and after a certain time it's ready to kill incoming explosives.

Oh man, more indestructible maps. I see holes in walls but that's it?
EDIT Look at those huge buildings......i would be really happy if you could just shoot some big chunks out of it.
Odd, playing duke nukem 3d and there's a level with the exact same name and concept as that BF4 map.
That SRAW looks damn cool

Someone told me they increased the recoil at some point in the beta
Fucking liars
Just realised that to get BF4+Premium packs, it will cost over £80.
What a load of shit.
I pre-ordered BF3+Premium packs for £38.
Sorry but that's just too far. The hell is wrong with EA?

That actually sounds incredibly useful, especially if you're on a metro-like map where it's super small and everyone just spams explosives, it will actually give you a chance to capture the point without being blown up by random RPGs and grenades.
Does sound like it could be a bit OP though, perhaps if a tank just sits on a really good vantage point and a few supports place those around it, it will be impossible to kill from RPGs

well I think their logic is - Premium is 5 mappacks(plus some bonus stuff) which has 4 maps each, while base game has 6 or 8(don't remember) and singleplayer, so you are paying for 5 mappacks and some bonus stuff a bit less than for singleplayer and 6-8 maps.
