air superiority in 1943 was a million times better than this bland shit.
it's literally just a tack on in china rising, they didn't redesign any of the maps to actually suit air combat - it's just you're 1000m in the sky flying in circles. There's ONE fucking map that you can actually [i]somewhat[/i] use the land to your advantage and spin around mountains. Every other map is just spin around in the sky - no cover, nothing. Ram into teammates, get hit by 6 missiles because they're spawn camping and you don't have any countermeasures up. It's such a tacked on pile of shit compared to the 1943 version.

That's cause you can unequip defibs now. Everyone probably went for the 320.
So apparently the UCAV can airburst as they said it would but you need to complete the "I'm Dynamite" assignment.
It requires:
-Bomber Delivery ribbon x3
-Get 20 UCAV kills
-Score a multikill!
The bomber also has a cruise missile you can unlock through the "Mother Of All Bombs" assignment.
That one requires:
-Get 15 kills with the bombing raid
-Destroy an enemy bomber.

At least, it detonates when you do that and does damage. perhaps the "airburst" you unlock through that assignment does more damage. but i've killed plenty of recon hiding behind rocks by hitting E and airbursting it that way without that assignment done

So that you don't appear out of nowhere and people don't get killed by magical wizard reinforcements, which still happens but not as much as it could
There's a warning sign on the camera when the person you're spawning on is in immediate danger, if you don't want to risk getting spawn killed, don't spawn on him

Immediate danger means they're getting shot and taking damage. A lot of the time i will spawn on a teammate that's perfectly fine, no warning whatsoever, and an enemy will run around the corner the second i spawn and blast us both before i'm even done fading in

Yeah, it kinda is okay I guess maybe. In my opinion, being revived shouldn't be something you expect, but rather something that you're lucky to get. Unfortunately as it stands, people revive so little that it's way more rare than I think it should be.

It's a really difficult thing to balance, and I think they do fine with it despite how annoying it gets. People just teleporting onto their squadmates is really kinda ridiculous overall, and has been the cause of me losing many battles, where it started with like 2-3 people and ended with 8 people getting birthed by the others. Though, the black screen time makes it so that you don't get raped by people who just spawned in, and the invincibility time makes it so they don't die before they were even born.
It's an unpopular opinion but squad spawns should just not have spawn immunity. The new system and the BF3 one resulted in so many kills lost to me because the guy I was shooting was suddenly blocked by a man-shaped bullet shield. If you don't want to die spawning on someone, then don't spawn on them. With the flashing DANGER icon and POV camera it should be easy enough to ascertain what the situation is like on the ground. No more spawn immunity means no need for an annoying black screen as well.
Again though, I'm sure this is an unpopular opinion and I'd probably hate it after about 3 minutes of playing if implemented so leave your disagrees and boxes below.
Im ok with dying immediately, i just dislike the black screen BS where i can move/interact with the world but can't see shit.
God damn what a great match, team was losing for the whole round but at like 100 score left for us we turned it around and won.

Don't think I prefer dying as soon as spawning on a squad mate to a sniper or whatever that I couldn't have possibly known about. I just get more frustrated with losing kills to spawn immunity.
I gotta say, I'm really disappointed in attack choppers. While piloting is maybe more fun than it was in 3 (Zuni rockets actually aren't bad if you aim them right and the TOW provides some extra AT), it is still overshadowed by the horrible handling of the vehicle - it feels a lot like piloting the pre-buff BF3 Havoc. However, even if we look past the painfully slow yaw and pitch speed, there's much more to disappoint: the heatseekers, being heatseekers, are abysmal against anything and everything, and the 14/8/10 AT rockets you get in reserve means you can only fire off two volleys and maybe kill a tank and a half before needing to retreat and hide behind a building or mountain or something for five minutes and hope you don't get caught with your pants down by an enemy MAA, attack jet, MBT, IFV, attack boat, RHIB, scout chopper, or Engineer because God knows your gunner can't do shit against most of these things. But Seba, you protest, the attack chopper gunner has the best weapon in the game, the TV missile, of course he can protect you! Ah, but it is not so. In BF4, you can carry two TV missiles ready to fire. However, this is offset by their greatly decreased damage - 80 against attack choppers, around 70 against transport choppers, 40 against armor, and probably even less against attack boats. Sure, if you aim well you can fire off and hit the enemy with two missiles - if you manage to do so in the two seconds it takes to bring down an attack chopper from full health by any of the above enemy assets, that is.
In short:
attack helicopters suck, make them better pls
It's because Scout Heli is OP right now.
With 30 sec reload time for countermeasures they can easily bring gunners flares back without making it gamebreaking.
