Too bad it's a terrible map.

Risky, difficult, but doable if you have a good sense of the Scout Chopper's handling and size.

The fact that there's no collision for the blades helps immensely, even though it makes no god-damn sense even by Battlefield standards. I'm guessing it's purely for gameplay reasons.
Oh good. Battlelog just fucking deleted my favourite server list.
I just don't get why BL is such filth. It's a browser extention supporting a goddamn triple A game, you'd expect it to function properly. Not only can I simply not join servers for entirely unknown reasons from time to time (definitely to blame on BL, it's servers that aren't even half full and have no reserved slots, and different ones every time), it also keeps overwriting my tracked shit, 99% of the time with shit I already unlocked within the first hours of playing.
Too bad it's a terrible map.
Pfft, one of my favorite maps actually.
Jesus christ you would think they would have balanced mini grenades by now but that shit is still the most overpowered grenade by MILES it's fucking ridiculous
It doesn't even 1-hit
It doesn't even 1-hit
If I'm engaged in a firefight, my health stays above 80% roughly half the time. Now consider that minis do 80 damage, you have 3 of them and you can throw them farther than any other grenade you start to see the problem.
To be honest, I think they're pretty well balanced within the game itself (I can't say I've been "unfairly" killed by a mini), but it's much superior to any other grenade.
Very useful to finish-off enemies that retreat to heal, can use them to scout with hitmarkers, very useful to get rid of claymores and other explosives, you can have 4 of them with the right perks.
It's very easy if you make the math to see why the minis are so good. If you don't have the extra grenade perk, with the Incendiary you can do 60 potential damage (60/Grenade) Default grenade you can do 100 potential damage (100/Grenade), with the Impact you can do 120 (60/Grenade) and with the mini you can do 240 potential damage (80/Grenade). Just for good measure, the flashbangs do about 5 damage each.
[editline]17th December 2013[/editline]
I've roughly got twice as many mini-grenade kills in BF4 in the same amount of time as I had normal grenade kills in BF3.
Pfft, one of my favorite maps actually.
If you like killing people with tanks or camping rooftops I guess. Otherwise the large and obliteration versions are just poorly designed. Far too many vehicles for infantry to really have an impact. Fighting 3 tanks on one street is not fun.
CQ small is fun though.
It doesn't even 1-hit
Chances are when you get a grenade thrown at you, it's because you've retreated behind cover after being shot. Which means you're not going to be at 100 HP, and mini grenades do 80 damage. Not to mention they go much further, have the exact same blast radius and damage drop off as the M67, and you have THREE of them. THREE.
The fact you can carry 3 of them is already a huge advantage, they don't even seem to have a smaller radius than other grenades, no wonder everyone is using them. No point in using the standard grenades if you can just throw 2 minis and still have one spare
RGO Impact are probably the most balanced since they have their own pros and cons
Incediary grenades are just awful unless you want to use them to get kills with your weapons by weakening the enemies without killing them before engaging. The enemy can be sitting on an incendiary for the whole duration and he won't die no matter what. Supposedly they're an area denial weapon but their duration is so short and you only have one that they're just pointless. Theorically they blind FLIR sights but you won't see through them even with normal sights so what's the point
Same with flashbangs, good concept but awful execution, you expect being able to throw one in a small room and be able to bumrush all the baddies inside but for it to have a proper blinding effect they need to be looking at it AND all it takes is having a team mate between you and the grenade and it will barely have any effect
And flares are just pointless really. On top of everything they have a very short duration. I wish they would laser mark vehicles nearby. That'd make them really useful
Actually I could have sworn something like that already existed in one of the battlefield games. Maybe the f2p version?
I actually use Smoke grenades, but i almost exclusively play counter-sniping DMR Recon so yeah. they get me out of a pinch sometimes. i've sat in the smoke, thrown CV and blew open a Fox Hole on Zavrod and taken cover in it before. It's amazing how fast he lost intrest in shooting me.
I absolutely LOVE the 338-recon. DAMN. Went on a tear yesterday. Just the sound, visuals, ADS time make it such an aggressive sniper rifle. I have to say, while being a M40a5 fanboy, this gun is my new all time fav.

How is the 338-recon vs the M98b?
How is the 338-recon vs the M98b?
Relatively speaking the m98b should be 'easier' to use because of it's high bullet velocity + larger mag, but in practise, I find the .338 to be more effective because of the following reasons: ADS time is quicker, the gun is also lighter so you feel more maneuverable. This gives it the powerful feeling of being able to 1 shot someone up close with quick reaction speed unlike the m98b, that feels kinda sluggish. It also takes less space in the screen.Basically, it's preference. Try both on the gunrange and see what suits you best :)
When is China Rising released for non-premium members?
Today. sometime.
When is China Rising released for non-premium members?
It was available for download today at 10AM GMT, I've played a few rounds already.

It can also delete your complete kit setups which has happened to be twice now.
Just think, all those kits and tanks setup, just the way you like it with your guns and attachments. Then imagine having to remember what you had and go through it all and set it all up again...
Fucking battlelog.
Air Superiority is so awful. Won my first round ever for the ribbon, never touching it again. Jet ribbons are impossible to get so I guess I'm never going to get the UCAV.
Just realized that they nerfed the SUAV and UCAV a day before the normal people got their hands on them. Premium advantage much?
The vehicle spawn time % filter is broken. Why put a much-requested feature in when it doesn't even work :l
I don't know whether it is the game or Battlelog but either way they are both a pile of shit.
I can play SP or Test Range on Ultra with 30-40 FPS so I know its not a computer problem
but if I try to play a server with 10+ people the game stutters like hell and then crashes, it will kick me back to battlelog with "something went wrong" and the script for battlelog will then crash and my browser will ask me to continue or stop the script.
So far I've:
Updated my game fully
updated punkbuster
updated my gfx drives
port forwarded origin /bf3/bf4
added an exception on the firewall for all 3
my ping is always less than 40(got a 100mbit connection so lag isn't an issue)
I've done clean reinstalls of bf3/4/origin/punkbuster
if I do manage to get into a 64 player game, it will run fine for a bit and then it will either CTD if I die or if the server had to change map.
I've seen that there are multiple people on the EA/Battlelog forums with this issue and its not been fixed.
Anyone on here have this problem and got it fixed?
How can i access Cruise Missle in Bomber? What button? I only have 4 JDAM BOMB by default.
After you get the MOAB assignment, press F I guess.
Yeah just switch weapon, press f or 1/2 to switch between JDAM and the Cruise Missile.
Like seba079 said, you need to unlock the Mother of All Bombs assignment to unlock the Cruise Missile.
So SLI is botched, eh?

lol.
enjoy your ban my brother works for steam
Yeah i see now, cant kill anything with JDAM bombs... and to get MOAB assignment you need at least 15 kills..
I don't see how people find it so hard to kill with the JDAM's just go play silk road, its piss easy to find camping tanks/snipers to kill.
Yeah i see now, cant kill anything with JDAM bombs... and to get MOAB assignment you need at least 15 kills..
I just look out for camping snipers or camping vehicles and pray for the battlefield lords that they don't move.
I'm happy I got to enjoy taking part in the UCAV rape while it lasted; joining an obliteration game on golmud railway and seeing 2 full squads of supports UCAV bombing us all to shit. I've never seen so many being deployed at once. I was able to take out half of them :v
