I just played a few CQL rounds of BF3 with a friend, to look back on the good ol' days, and it feels pretty good. Dat G53/REX doe, so good
Battlefield 3 wasn't [I]that[/I] long ago.
Now I'm not sure whether or not to blame BF4 for this or not but this literally happens only in BF4 and no other game ever.
I can either go a couple of hours with no issues and running at 25 ping or it can jump violently up to 500 and up to 999 ping so often that it makes the game unplayable with rubberbanding and lag and I mean for hours and hours the game is totally unplayable from lag. I do run my computer off wifi as I have no way of hooking it up with a wire but again, I've been doing this for years and no game has given me problems like BF4.
I've turned off all firewalls, defragged my computer, my hardware is modern and up to spec so when the game does deicde to work, it does so fine. When I do speedtests, I get less than 20 ping with 10mbps-ish for both upload and download.
So what could this problem possibly be?

I wish they would fix the disappearing crosshair bug. It's super-annoying because the hitmark disappears too. It happens all the time for me, especially with shotguns.

Whenever that happens to me I just press Q (Spotting) and it reappears.

Firefox has the tendency to make my Nvidia display driver crash and thus crash BF4 :v: hence why I asked if it was stable to install but I take that as a yes
The M16A4 is such a comfy weapon. I was never a big fan of burst fire weapons in the previous games, but I'm really liking the M4 and M16 in here for some reason.

i can see the changes i make both yo my soldier and weapons
I just wish my stuttering would disappear. Got an i5 2500, 670 and 4GB RAM. Runs fine then freezes up like a slideshow sometimes but stutters every 5-10 seconds.
Can't figure out if my HDD is to blame or whether upgrading to newer 8GB RAM would be better?

Sure you can see the camo applied to your soldier in the customisation screen, but ingame it's 100% useless and unnoticeable.
