BF3 might be old in terms of the BF franchise, but it's still a current game. I'm still playing it now and like i said a little earlier in this thread, it's actually a better game now BF4 has come out.
The lack of server choice is the only problem with it these days.
BF4 on PS3 has officially been taken over by BRs and ruined. Guess I'm never playing this again.

No seriously I was just on Flood Zone and the entire enemy team all had Brazilian flag dogtags and were camping on the roof of the tallest building throwing down C4 and grenades on anyone who walked by. The two other rounds I played I got killed by a Brazilian in the most BS ways about 99% of the time.

Yeah, we got more ways than ever to kill campers now: mortar, AC-130, Bomber, Tomahawk, XM25, minis, UCAV, SRAW...
The mortar isn't that good for killing roof campers, the shooting arc isn't as high as it should be
And yeah I know you can compensate (assuming they're not on top of a skyscraper in that case you're SOL) but for something that was pretty much designed to counter campers you'd think it'd be better at it

So are the even going to put a higher rank in? I mean I hit the highest rank when that double XP week was, kind of ridiculous how easy it is to hit 110.
~120h to reach the limit is a bit on the low side in my opinion. I played bf3 for 300+h and I'm still not max rank on there.
(I don't play just to rank but its fun to have something to work towards.)
Should i just use Auto graphics settings for me it puts everything on high without Msaa is Msaa needed?

MSAA doesn't make a big enough difference to be worth the loss in performance. Turning off SSAO/HBAO is also a really easy way to practically double your FPS with very little loss in visual quality.

"Premium event" scheduled in 6 days so.
So i got MTAR. I knew the assignment said that you need to get those kills in a round but for some reason i thought it was meaning in total or something. So i got lmg and sniper rifle kill in one round and tried grenade kill next round. Only to realize how stupid i had been.
Well i tried to do them all in operation locker map. And it went surprisingly well. For sniper rifle kill i had to take off the scopes and just run and gun someone :v:
By the way is it just me or are the maps in bf4 a lot better? I personally love Zavod 311.

I've not played all the maps yet but so far Zavod, Silk Road, Locker and that one on the big open grassy mountain are my favourite.

Me too, currently focused on weapons though.
Those anti air launchers that fire 3 rockets at once you can get on the map drop location thingy are fucking amazing. They got me out of a bad situation like 3 times today.
Am I a bad person if I went around bailing from jeeps so they killed friendly snipers that were sitting around in the middle of nowhere?
