I got some installation problems for Battlefield 4 for PC on Vista SP2 64. Ill install the game from disk. After disc 3 finishes, I cant play the game. Im given the "install" button again which I assume is for patches, I click on it and it runs through a quick installation process. The thing is, no matter how many times I click on install and let it finish. I can never play the game. There is just always an "install" button where there should be a "play" button. Ive tried downloading it from disc and from the internet but nothing works. I can never get the install button to be replaced by a play button. Can anyone help me?
I constantly have trouble connecting to servers on battlelog when I try to join and it just seems like it's random cause sometimes it will be fine and I will get in. Getting annoying.
Spent most of a round ramming jeeps under a buddy in a tank and flying boats around with C4, including stacking 2 boats on top of each other and still managed to finish in the top 3 on the team. I swear, I don't remember this many shit players back in BF2

Is the Open Fire achievement broken for anyone else? I got all 3 things within 1 round and it reset on me the next round. I'm 100% sure I got all 3. The only reason I can think of is that the game doesn't think that the rex counts as a pistol kill.
autumn 2014 at this rate
What? The launch window for Second Strike has always been Late December/Early January. It's already available on the Xbox One for premium members as timed exclusive content.
Every month there will be a different Premium Event in-game for members to participate in!
If it's not double XP i'm gonna be pissed :(
Repair install/check for updates in Origin maybe
I cant because Origin keeps telling the game isnt fully installed. Ill right click on BF4 and it just says "install"
Weird. Try contacting EA Support (I'm sorry)
Just got this game and I have to say hit detection feels really weird for some reason. I don't know if it's because I haven't played BF in a while or because the starting weapons aren't that good, but hitmarkers usually don't show up as much they usually would in BF3 even at close ranges.

The only time I ever crash is when I jump off a moderately high surface and deploy my parachute by spamming jump. As soon as I hit the ground the game freezes and it crashes. Does anyone else get this?

A big (well, small, but of great effect) difference from 3 is that strafing moves your aim horizontally, apparently due to the muzzle moving as you sidestep. Because of this it's super important to adjust your aim, especially in CQB.
Just played a round of TDM to farm shotgun ribbons and this rank 0 guy just pops in chat saying: "this is crap, not even like COD" "i want my money back"

I was not a smart person) Radeon HD 7870 GHz 8GB RAM Until I OC'd the FX 6100 to 3.6+ GHz (Currently on 4.0Ghz), I stuttered like crazy. Now, the only stutter I get is from people lagging the server itself (1 person with High Ping = stutter for everyone)
If you click on the objective continuously while your spawn timer reduces to 0 you can hear the tune playing in this song :v:
Will the game run okay on my rig? Haswell i5-4670k, 8gb ram, 6870.

anyone have a work around for the nvidia driver patch they did? you need the latest drivers to play the game now, but i dont want to install the newer nvidia drivers as they cause problems.
I don't know if I can continue playing this in its current state, and I'm only level 5 so far. Compared to BF3 this game can sometimes be unplayable with its netcode.

And for some reason it has started to drop fps-drops on me when I started it today for the first time in 2 weeks. This game, man.
TWELVE KNIFE KILLS IN A ROUND BF4.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING THIS FUCKER BETTER SAVE
If the server didn't crash, everything's fine
9 losses and 1 win today, just absolute fucking useless players. Had a team with 60% of them having something similar to 3 kills 15 deaths. Jesus christ man, why are people so fucking terrible [editline]26th December 2013[/editline] Annd banned from a server for reason: 'Sorry,I have to look at an interest HUN' What the fuck
Just got BF4 and it's not launching, how do I fix it?
Just got BF4 and it's not launching, how do I fix it?
Can you be more vague please
Can you be more vague please
There's not much else I can say. When I launch it on battlelog it just sits on initializing.
