things i'm amazed that they haven't fixed yet that have been problems since release
- revive bug
- spotting through smoke grenades (seriously what the fuck is the point of a smoke grenade otherwise?)
- rubber banding issues
- "lean/peak" head glitching, literally is abused to shit in any competitive BF4 match because your hitbox doesn't stick out enough to actually be hit. they need to remove the lean/peak altogether.
- double repair spamming little birds
- little bird seat switch flare bug

the m416 is arguably better than the ace 23. The reason people overwhelmingly use the ace 23 is because it immediately comes with a coyote sight. No one likes grinding out a gun with crap sights. Also, wtf, someone tell levelcap how to use attachments. The muzzle brake is the worst barrel attachment, and the stubby isn't a great grip either. If you know that the ergo grip effects ads accuracy while moving, it clearly becomes the go-to grip, cause by the time the stubby grip's accuracy over time buff surpasses the ergo grips initial accuracy buff, the person you are shooting at should be long dead.

if you look at actual high level competitive play, everyone is using either the ACE 23 or the ACE 52 CQB. That's literally it.

i've played some comp games myself and i can say with no doubt that you're wrong with nearly everything you just said. the only advantage the m416 has over the ACE 23 is reload speed, otherwise the ACE 23 is statistically a better gun in every other way that's of any relevance.
ACE 23 has faster fire rate, muzzle velocity, lower first shot multiplier, and lower recoil - which can be lowered even further with a muzzle break. you [B]WILL NOT[/B] see anyone in comp using anything outside of an ACE 23 or an AEK-971, and it's more or less a 70/30 split between muzzle break and a silencer. underbarrel grip is always angled foregrip.

I just get the feeling everyone uses the ACE guns with the high ROF is because they're a bit bullshitty with the way netcode works.
Often I'll be killed by those guns in what looks like one shot but obviously was half a mag of ammo.

you can see that they are more or less reskins. The m416 will benefit more from certain attachments, hence why it is arguably better. The big difference though is that the ace 23 gets a coyote sight after 10 kills, and the m416 needs a battlepack (210-510 kills, depending on how lucky you are) for it. People are retroactively building this mythos about how great the ace 23 is, but the real story is how great the coyote sight is.

The M416 is a "stepping-stone", you can´t use it forever like if it were the best weapon in the entire game. ThE ACE 23 is well-balanced and it´s good in med and large combats.
I have a more open mind and i like to try other weapons and not get attached to one single weapon.
Also, i give a f@ck about the coyote sight, I prefer the Kobra sight

Now that I think about it, every game that has been published or developed by EA has given me more trouble than any other game.
The Saboteur never worked for me because of poor optimization
Mass Effect 2 took me about an hour or two to get it to work after installing it
SimCity took a few days to get to work
Battlefield 4 took 3 days of troubleshooting to get to work.
Looking over my list of steam games I cant pick out a single one that gave me any trouble.

I don't have anything unlocked anymore either...
Currently attempting to get through to EA support to complain. Even switched to the 32 bit launcher which locks everything to low and I STILL got that stupid stuttering. Crysis 3 looks better and runs better on my pc, BF4 has nothing so graphically intensive to cause this shit and I literally feel like I've wasted my money, which is a shame since I love Battlefield.
