BF2 was filled with casual nobbies. They just tended to flock to gimmick servers like knife only or dolphin dive servers.

Yeah well I never saw them. I always ended up having great battles and some of the best gaming moments in BF2 just because everyone who played there or at least 90% knew what they were doing and how to play the class they picked.
This game does nothing but frustrate the shit out of me. Connecting to servers half the time doesnt work, when I finally connect I lose connection after ~30 mins. Then it takes ages to unlock anything and half the games are massive steamrolls with one side filled with high lv's going 30/2 and the other barely breaking even.
Plus some of the maps are too big, so its hard to hold onto a point for more than 5 minutes as its so easy just to run past everyone and cap one.
Anyone interested in playing on ps4 sometime?

I've discovered the real way to play the game.
16 player games. There's something that resembles teamplay there, and using actual tactics works wonders. I've been running around with a silenced carbine and the recon motion sensor and holy crap that shit is mighty as balls.

I don't know why but I still enjoy playing BF3 over 4 I guess its because all of the somewhat decent players moved to 4 and noobs are left in 3.

Happends to me after 10-15 mintues of playing it. When i play dota 2 or any other game my connection never drops.

Battlefield 2 had terrible infantry combat. Every Battlefield has been good in some places and broken in others. Like BF3 having OP as fuck aircraft.
DMR's are honestly really fun once you get used to them holy shit, full auto guns feel dull now.

Yep. Squad DM depending on the map can be quite fun and tactical especially if you stick with your squad and make sure you got 1 medic.
Or on Galileo a german tv show, it plays the bf theme for finding a bicycle.
"System" is at like 70% disk usage right now. My entire computer is barely usable, let alone BF4. The game is frozen more often than it's actually running at this point.

A quick question, is it possible to merge two origin accounts? I was stupid when I built my PC and made a new origin that I have BF4 on. My Xbox360 soldier has veteran status from like 3 or 4 games and I would like that to carry over to my current account.

Yeah. More often than not a rep will just give you veteran status for every game even if you don't own them :v:

I appear to have totally killed my BF3 install. I copied it straight off my old drive when I reformatted a few days ago, everything else has worked fine, BF3 however refuses to start now. Tried the repair install option, reinstalled my graphics drivers at the off chance that was the problem, nothing.

If you are just joining random pubs, look at the scoreboard and put yourself in a squad with people who have high scores or are high level. Taking a few seconds to do this will make the entire rest of the game better.
