BC1 mortar strikes were just like bc2 ones, except less delay iirc and only for support class.
Did anyone buy this from cdkeys.com?? Looks legit, really cheap and has china rising too. It's like, 26 pounds
No they'll be wiped, or at least what they said. If you've still got it get the code and save it.
Well fuck, someone make a FP logo and let me copy you.
And I don't think making it a point-and-click adventure will help.
Artillery in real life is point and click though.

Slippery slope arguments don't work on me boy!
im gonna take money out of my gaming laptop savings and buy bf4 tomorrow. too bad its released on my dads weekend, so i cant even download it before sunday
Slippery slope arguments don't work on me boy!
It's not a slippery slope argument because I don't think that's a bad thing
I'm just pointing out that people are very selective with the realism argument in BF
Was it anything like mortar strikes in BC2? Because that was fucking awful. You'd get 5+ recons on the enemy team and just have strike after strike coming down on you.
They were like this

YEsss, so EA unfucked my release date and now its Oct 29 as it should  Preloading now
17 hours left for first release, remember to search your Korean VPNs!
Uhm...
So I've bought BF4 from one of my local online game shops, as always...
Now I'm stuck with only Polish and Russian language (I'm from Poland).
I just watched trailer for PL version of BF4 and I just wanted to kill myself, how frakking horrible is that dubbing over there... God frakking damnit.
Does anyone know if it was huge pain in the ass to change from XXX to English back in BF3?
Or it was just overwriting some original files with english ones?
Should do same as everyone this time...
Get it from mexican distributors... it's even cheaper there >.>
My internet is soo slow; downloaded 2.8GB of 24.4GB.
The release where I am is at 10:00PM Mountain Time, but I have to work anyways so I don't have to worry about not being able to play due to it not being done downloading.
Can anyone tell me how camos are unlocked? I've searched and people are conflicting with saying its only obtainable from battlepacks (which I would hate, I love collecting unlockables) and some are saying its like BF3 where you have to do assignments.
this time I'll try to play @ 0hrs, just to see what its like
Levelcap goes all fanboy (or shill, if you're cynical like that) over the final version of Battlefield 4 he got to play. He spends the first half of the video talking about the Levee map, and then the second half gushing about the new maps in the final game.
This is modern video game marketing. The same thing happened in PS2. Companies save a lot of money by hooking up famous Youtube celebrities (ughghghgh) with exclusive footage and swag who then go back to their audience and gush about the game.
Levelcap probably likes Battlefield 4, and Battlefield 4 is probably going to be a good game, but the transparency is obvious.

I haven't heard anything on the assignments returning, so it's most likely battlepacks. But anything is better than the absurd requirements for camos in BF3.
re: artillery
1942 had the best setup in games ever. You actually needed a spotter who gave you coordinates that you could cycle to in your artillery then you had to zero while observing your shots from the spotters PoV.

Yea, if you watch certain channels you can find something pesky going on when it comes to that.
Same happens with newest BFF video...

I usually watch them and be like "xD" this time I was more like "-_^".

I have purchased a Russian edition of BF3 for about 7 pounds a few months after it got released. Basically, all you would have to do is download English sound files, update your game, change registry (manually or use a simple program) and that's it. You'd have to wait a bit for the BF4 packs, though.

well it also makes sense from a gameplay 'fun' perspective
actually nvm the BC one looks better

Oh well, I will have to suffer through ear bleeding until then.
I just hope there will be good souls to keep uploading "up-to-date" files, when new update rolls out.
I've heard they want to do more frequent updates this time, compared to BF3.

They are going to be a problem, yes. Each update will require you to (usually) download an XXX-ENG hotfix that takes up a couple of MB. At least, that's how it worked with BF3. It's not a hassle, but everyone who buys non-English versions just for saving money will be dependent on those kind-hearted people that update the files

You just have to change some files and some registries, takes longer to download the files than the actual process.
Anyone else ordered from SimplyCDKeys and know when keys are sent out?

If you ordered from a distributer which is less than $60, you will probably get the key on Oct 30.

Wow, every map seems to be a huge improvement over BF3. Nice.
I really expected Golmud Railway to be bigger.
Wait, no more assignments? Some requirements are absurd, but they are one of the main reasons why I am still playing BF3 - I have ~42 out of 70 assignments unlocked and I want to unlock new stuff even on being Rank 11 colonel. :(
