What's wrong with this game latley, takes me several attempts to get into a server because all i get is a black screen with the stupid loading icon then I get 'game disconnected: could not join server'

Yeah I thought shitty fps for pretty much no reason was bad enough and now if I manage to join a server it's going to stutter a lot.
Traded the 360 version of this for the One version the other day, and my god is it much better.
I've yet to get fully used to the different controller but it's so much sharper and fluid. The bump up to 60fps is a massive advantage. The Second Assault maps are fun, too, but I'm dreading the assignment for the GOL.

This game is great. I got it for christmas on PS3, and I've had loads of fun with it. I'm great with all classes except recon : Fuck recon. Today i've been with a great squad for like 6 games straight, and 5 of those games we got the best squad ribbon. I was the squad leader for most of those games, and everytime they actually listened to me when i told them to do something through the commorose. Later I played my first commander game and I got unanimous support from all squad leaders. Also now I don't suck at helicopters like I did (crashing within 10 seconds of taking off or in the rare cases i didn't crash immediatly, not being able to hit shit and hitting a building.)
I still don't understand what you're supposed to do with the big planes like the fantan and the A-10. What is their secondary weapon for?

I just looked up the assignments for Second Assault. The GOL one makes it seem like they're encouraging you to be a tower camper. The Co-Pilot one also implies that repairing is related to helicopters, meaning that they're not going to do anything about the repairisites sitting in invincible scout helis.

Anyone's played air superiority and the new china rising maps yet? I've yet to finish the download and install them on my PS3 since I have the shitttiest connection. Altai Range looks pretty good and Silk Road just looks like sniper paradise. I may be wrong though.

Silk Road is tank derp. Snipers do setup on the ridges around D but if you keep moving and stay behind barriers you'll be fine on foot.
Same story with Altai, more snipers though.
You'll love Guilliniiniiniiniinin Peaks if you like infantry maps.

As for your specs, are you using an i3 with that clock? Which 78XX GPU are you using? Are you on the latest drivers?

if you move while shooting an lmg, your accuracy gets bad.
if you start shooting before you ads, your accuracy gets REALLY bad.

I have an i5 and a 7850. I restarted my computer after that and everything ran fine like it usually does. I don't know what the problem was exactly.

I like how DICE made an assignment to get 5 kills from the Firestorm or Caspian towers in a SINGLE game. It's insanely retarded because those two towers both have extremely OP countermeasures against them. Firestorm's tower can be instantly burned at the touch of a button to kill anyone on top, and Caspian's is extremely weak, meaning that if you can even get there to begin with, someone will blow it up and leave it useless for the rest of the game.
It's almost like they NEVER want me to get the GOL.

Sounds like a challenge. Kinda what the assignments were meant to be, funny that. Just be careful about it and I'm sure you'll get it, try not to make it obvious you're up there, and hope nobody presses the button at random or decides knocking down the tower is fun.

The DAO-12 and M60E4 assignments are much better but still challenges. It's still relatively hard to destroy 5 vehicles in one round if you actually try, whereas hoping the Caspian tower isn't gone is down to chance.
