i'll be really mad if a lot of the unlocks are in these battlepacks [editline]28th October 2013[/editline] i'm not a big fan of random drops and stuff like that
Another one
I really expected Golmud Railway to be bigger.
Battlefield maps being designed to look a lot bigger than they really are was something I was hoping (but not expecting) them to fix for Battlefield 4. Aside from the physics, it is my greatest problem with modern Battlefield games. I played 1942 today and God dammit the physics and map size of the new games are such a step backwards. I say it all the time, but Frostbite's physics are fake rubberbanding garbage. I hate them and they make vehicles feel like anything but. The physics of the old games had vehicles feeling like real vehicles governed by real physics. Maps in the old games felt so much bigger due to their slower pace. In 1942 and BF2, you don't sprint at 20mph, tanks don't race across maps like rally cars, etc. It made the old maps feel so much more open, even if they technically aren't much bigger than modern Battlefield maps. Anyway, rant over. I fully expect Battlefield 4 to be full of postcard sized maps with enormous amounts of unused space surrounding them. My only hope right now is that because those videos are from the console version, they are only playing Conquest small. We'll know for sure by tomorrow.
I don't know why but I'm actually really excited for the singelplayer, but I can't wait to dominate the air with a plane in multiplayer!

As much as I loved the physics of the old BF games, the gunplay has improved so much I can forgive it for the most part
If you ordered from a distributer which is less than $60, you will probably get the key on Oct 30.
Or longer, the last time I pre ordered a game from a key site I got the game a week after it released.
cool beans, it's released at 9pm tomorrow for me instead of midnight
How likely is it that key sites will give us a non English version of the game? Pre-ordered from play-sc who are based in Singapore. I ask because I understand that if the key is Russian, the whole game will be in Russian VO and you can't change anything to English VO?

To me that was the perfect compromise.
For any last minute guys, if you use this code on Greenman, you can get it for $48.00.
TAREM-BF4NA-BOOM1
Really lucky for me that Origin brushed away my card after it tried to bump the price up from 59.99 -> 62.00 + Tax. I had like $65 on the card. Alright! It's pre-loading now, and it will release Oct 28 at 10:00 PM for me. Pretty cool that I don't have to wait until the 30th, even though I guess 2 days isn't too big of a deal.
Did anyone buy this from cdkeys.com?? Looks legit, really cheap and has china rising too. It's like, 26 pounds
I just bought from there. Even messaged them first asking whether it was an English key from the get-go and they confirmed. You can get a 5% discount code on their FB page too, just to make it £1.40 cheaper (nothing, but still)
When will GMG send out keys for us in Europe? Sorry if it's already been posted.
When will GMG send out keys for us in Europe? Sorry if it's already been posted.
I am NA, but I was sent a key (in an email) immediately after I purchased just now. Don't know why it says "Keys will be delivered by the release date of the game", considering it shows up just below the key itself.

(btw: did you order premium or if someone did, did you get both the game and premium key at the same time?)
I keep trying to checkout on green man gaming using that voucher but It keeps giving me the Oops does not compute, I've tried using my debit, paypal, and direct from checking. But it keeps failing me. Starting to get really annoyed. I hope the respond to my ticket before this voucher goes bad.

It's always nice to save a couple of bucks. [editline]27th October 2013[/editline] I think it's going to be the first time in forever since I've played a game on launch day. Shit's gonna be cray. [editline]27th October 2013[/editline] Heck, I think it might be the first time ever.

Argh I really want to buy this at launch but my wallet is a little empty at the moment. I played the beta and had a really good time. I've got a Steam key for Batman: Arkham Origins that came with my GPU and was hoping to sell it for some dough towards BF4 but I can't find anyone who's interested. Guess I gotta wait for a few months =<
http://www.goldenfrog.com/vyprvpn
-EDIT- never mind my other connection was conflicting ok I'm ready for launch :)

I got BF4 for $48, so for those that this didn't work before and you still haven't bought BF4 yet, give it another shot.
Also preordered Premium because I was going to do that eventually anyway. gg sold my soul to EA
Wait, no more assignments? Some requirements are absurd, but they are one of the main reasons why I am still playing BF3 - I have ~42 out of 70 assignments unlocked and I want to unlock new stuff even on being Rank 11 colonel. :(
There are tons of assignements, which give you guns, cano and dogtags, like before. Some dogtags that require you to be rank 100 to do them as well.
Dat FiOS.
I'm gonna pick up my copy tomorrow nearing the afternoon instead of the midnight release, really paranoid to walk around at night in my ghetto swagfag infested neighborhood. And dat screen pic...
Starting to regret pre-ordering the retail copy and not the digital copy.
Why are people saying it's releasing tomorrow, that's just when the preload starts or am I missing something here.
