How do you care about kdr on bf4? Is there even a kdr?
I stopped caring because medics and repairmen get few kills if that's all you're doing.
I stopped caring because medics and repairmen get few kills if that's all you're doing.
How? As engineer I focus on repairing yet I find myself doing lots of kills each round. Also, what's the best carbine for you guys? So far I only unlcoked up to the AKU12 and while it was okay, I find myself sticking to the ACW-R. It's the one that works best with me. Also I recently started using PDW's again and the PP2000 is great.
Is it me or most levelutions never ever happen? Like on Zavod 311 you're supposed to be able to trigger warheads with a laptop somewhere and completely level the smokestack. On dawnbreaker you can blow up some gaspipes, and make the ground crack up, cave in and make the bridge collapse. On Flood Zone you can make the place actually FLOOD. I mean that never happens, when on the other maps, their levelution always happens. There's always one kid doing nothing but triggering them but nobody does them on the maps i mentioned.
Well nobody doing the one on Flood Zone can easily be explained by it making the map significantly worse.

I have trouble with the recoil at longer ranges. I really like the M4 for some reason. It's a pretty good all around gun once you get used to the burst fire. I also really like the QBZ with a heavy barrel. Something about it makes it a headshot machine for me, but I can acknowledge that it's statistically a pretty poor gun.
I just realized that Garry removed the scroll feature on the list of the users who rated. I cannot really read past the 16th user of the winner rating. Halp. I cannot announce the winners until I figure out how to install a scroll feature.
I imagine zooming out would solve this - might make the names a bit difficult to read though..
Well nobody doing the one on Flood Zone can easily be explained by it making the map significantly worse.
Except for the part where making 90% of the map a swimming slog, this limiting enemy mobility can make sustaining map control significantly easier. There are only so many vehicles that can navigate the map once the levee is gone, and swimming around when a team controls the rooftops is a death sentence. Dawnbreaker and Rogue Transmission levolution are highly impractical though. They both require doing something on opposite ends of the map, and DB's basically does nothing of relevance. RT's is really only useful for taking out Snipers on top and any tanks being dicks on the radar-dish. Still, couldn't be worse than Lancang Dam where nothing changes except for how the Dam looks. IMO Shanghai's is the best since it serves as a counter to Point C being a practically impenetrable fortress.
i stopped playing bf4 like a week after its release. the server bugs and crashes were just too annoying. i didn't like most of the maps either. hows the game now? are the 4 new maps much better than the default maps?

It is literally the weakest levolution effect. even with dawnbreaker, it makes it harder for armor the cross where the bridge was because now they cant go under or over. the dam takes so many hits and does so little that it might as well not be there. I am kind of interested to see what other ideas might be in future dlc if it isnt just cut like in China Rising.

The lag stutters are still persistent, but not too god awful, and as for overall crashing, I haven't crashed in a month or so now.
Are any of the guns that are unlocked in the campaign any good? I've played the campaign before elsewhere and I'm not really sure if it's worth playing through it again to get that stuff. And also, which choice at the end gives the more useful gun?
P90 is good, M249 is good, QBZ-95-1 is good if you like bullpup ARs that fire at 700rpm.
Chromefield [t]http://files.1337upload.net/bf4_x86_2014-01-18_13-19-45-03.png[/t] White Chocolate Field too [t]http://files.1337upload.net/bf4_x86_2014-01-18_13-19-55-23.png[/t]
I really like that second one, got any more?
Well nobody doing the one on Flood Zone can easily be explained by it making the map significantly worse.
Floodzone after the flood is the best kind of gameplay bf4 has to offer imo. Being sneaky after the levolution is fun as shit.
My campaign save is gone. I have to start all over again and I was on the second to last chapter :suicide:
My campaign save is gone. I have to start all over again and I was on the second to last chapter :suicide:
I think since I've gotten the game in total my game save has been wiped at least 15 times. I've just stopped trying.
I'm starting to get extremely pissed off. Every time I fly any sort of aircraft I get shot at, normal, right? But then when I die it just says "killed in action" no name of my killer no nothing. Just boop boop boop dead. What is going on??
Bought this, I don't like how they made it so you connect to servers through your browser. Couldn't they have just built that shit into the game like everyone else does?

And DICE are notoriously shit at making in game server browsers. I can't think of a single one that actually worked all the time, BattleLog breaks occasionally, but at least the browser works most of the time.
Battlelog has the best server browser DICE has engineered so far. Signed, a Battlefield player since 1942.

I have my browser open pretty much all the time so it's easier just to open Battlelog in a new tab and find a server, than launch the game, skip some intro screens, log in, and then finally get to the browser like other games.
Battlelog has the best server browser DICE has engineered so far. Signed, a Battlefield player since 1942.
I don't know if I'd call it the best, but it's certainly not bad. I've never understood why it gets so much hate.
I don't know if I'd call it the best, but it's certainly not bad. I've never understood why it gets so much hate.
One of the issues with Battlelog is you can't set any ingame settings like you could if the game had a main menu. So to change settings you have to be in a match and waste time. And if you just want to test settings, say if you bought a new graphics card and want to see how far you can push it while keeping it stable, you're being useless to youe team. Other than that Battlelog is fine. Especially for people like me who have their browsers open all the time anyway.
Biggest fucking issue with Battlelog is that joining a server causes so many stupid problems that it would be easier already to build it into the game.
Does anyone want to play a few games right now?
I want to play this game so bad. With all this time I still can't get a good computer and I don't see myself buying a new console anytime soon. I just hope that I don't arrive late like it happened with Battlefield 3 where I played when End Game just got released. I always wanted to learn how to fly Attack/Scout Helicopters but my time in Battlefield 3 was too short to learn to do anything. Anyways, I won't forget when I destroyed a AH-1Z Viper using a T-90. Is the aircraft still powerful as it was in Battlefield 3 or they changed everything?
The only time I see that is when I crash into the ground after being disabled or the automated base defense AA kills me.
ohhhhh so there is an automated AA
