yeah I went and mastered most of the guns back in BF3. I even set it all up so I could horde in massive points and unlocks just from one round, I'll repost it back from the BF3 thread

I actually whored out on TDM Canals because I loved how fast paced it was, too lazy to do it in BF4 since there is no decent CQC map to play on imo
BL didn't even update my page with my unlocks either, I guess too much dogtags was unlocked during that round hahaha
I too miss TDM Canals. China Rising has a few maps around that size and layout though.
I wish that Second Assault had Canals in it rather than fucking metro. Also wish Seine Crossing would have gotten a remake too, that would look awesome in BF4's engine.

I'm only disagreeing with the Canals part, as I hated that map, and I think BF4 would make it worse. I have the worst luck when it comes to games, as 90% of the time nearly everyone on the other side is sniper, and a open map like canals would just be a kick in the balls to me. Seine was fantastic on the otherhand, thus would be amazing.
One of my friends is thinking of getting BF4 and I'll probably buy it if he does, but what kind of surprises am I in for? I've heard a lot of shit about this game
I have a strong wired connection with low ping and an above mediocre gaming rig, so aside from that are there still significant problems with the game?

Two guys on the enemy team were doing this non-stop last game I played. It was annoying as hell, especially because you can't hit the damn things. Why the fuck are they so small?
Those drones need a maximum operational range and/or need to change so they do not collide with players.

I would have preferred most any other map to Gulf of Oman. It really doesn't deserve yet another remake.

MAVs freaking everywhere.
At least recently for me lots of people have been busting out these little flying drones which can mark people and are hard as balls to shoot because of how small they are and how sporadically you can make them fly. Not to mention that they can pop out of it quickly and go back in to negate missile lock-ons and said MAVs can destroy equipment.

If you disliked Canals you've been playing them wrong
TDM Canals is all you need for super hot kill grinding action, all you have to do is run between the cargo containers and soundwhore like crazy

You sound like someone who wasn't there when the SUAVs were first introduced. They were flying lightsabers, killing you and whoever was unlucky enough to be lined up with you, and they kept flying until their battery ran dry. Patches nerfed it down quite a bit.
At least now the damn things have the decency to explode once they hit you[sp]most of the times[/sp], and they do not roadkill you easily as before.
MAVs seem to be useful against them.
[sp]I use it against snipers stupid enough to camp on the same spot. Aparently there are lots of them on the game.

Although I agree, it's not what it's supposed to do, but you can laze targets better and easier with the MAV+SOFLAM combo.
I guess that's another thing the boys at DICE should take a look.

I gave up on UCAVs. There's no way i'm getting those jet ribbons.

I have the opposite, when I download on steam it's usually like 5 maybe 6 MB/s, with Origin I got like 10 MB/s when I was downloading BF4.

Same here but the speeds are 2.5mb/s and 3.5mb/s respectively :suicide:
I only get about 1MB's but on Origin I get like 1.5MB/s strangely.
