I'm sure the AS VAL does more damage than a normal pdw. It just kills so fast.
The catalyst beta better come out soon, I want to see if mantle actually makes it better.

How does one unlock it again?

I've haven't really had much fun with Assault. Recon gets fun when you learn bullet drops from different ranges. My only gripe with the game is that some of the maps get extremely dull. Op.locker, and some of the China Rising maps. And the levolution in Shanghai makes the map way less fun. you know, I would never have guessed that when Mantle was released AMD would be the one keeping me waiting... 11hrs and counting... From the tests they did, mantle would solve my problems on Shanghai (its JUST under what I consider acceptable)

I still can't believe they didn't fix any of of the glitches that allow people out of the map, there's one on locker that allows to walk ontop of the sky barrier (where the vehicles and supply drops get stuck in air) And now there's also one on Metro that allows the same thing, and you can shoot people. Also AMD stated that the 14.1 beta drivers will be released at 4 pm EST, then again at 6 pm but deleted both messages ...

I'm not a fan of the VAL; the 30 base damage doesn't do much since it's still 4 shots to kill and the recoil is way too bouncy to be worth the 20 rounds. I'll stick to my MP7 and Mk11 I think.

Shanghai is bullshit in TDM, don't expect to win once you're spawning on the south side, ever.
TV Missle seems to be a lot more responsive, and easier to control now. -snip i am really dumb to think you couldn't customize it- No scopes for the AS VAL, which really sucks.

Yeah alright I think this is it for me, this last game breaking bug is the straw that broke the camels back sound not working at all aside from some menu sounds since the patch. I have tried and tried to enjoy the game I have put up with all the stutter all the crashes and even the occasional blue screen of my pc with dice every step of the way promising to fix the game once and for all. I am done with being lied to I am done being peddled an incomplete game and im certainly done with their half assed attempts at reparation every single time the game gets broken I am going to try and get a refund although im sure they wont but one thing is for certain Dice will not be getting another dime of my money.
I have no cool story to go with this but my team just came back from losing 150-400 to a 14-0 win and I had fun so yeah
Just waiting for the catalyst update...
It sure is taking them a long time to put the finishing touches on it.
AS-VAL sure is fun, I like that they gave it 30 max damage.
