Yeah, on the menu it says "ONGOING 100% XP BOOST EVENT", but no double XP is given in-game.
Until they actually release the new AMD drivers, BF4 is going to stutter like hell. This will be fun.

I haven't played in a while either. Are any of the performance issues fixed? It's hard to enjoy the game with the constant stuttering. I really hope they're putting off DLC development and putting the entire workforce on making the game actually playable.

I don't understand all this "stuttering" business people are talking about. Of all people I would think I'd be the one suffering as I'm running on a laptop.

Its a issue with a game I think. Or bootleneck. Or SOMETHING, I have no idea. Just stutter here and there for no reason. Im used to it after 55h in game.
BTW, I feel like Im the only, or major guy that revives people. And thats true mostly, I do for almost every map at least 1/3 of revives.

I try to revive as much as I can whenever I play assault. I mainly play as Support and Recon though, trying to unlock dem guns.
I am cautious about reviving though, I don't just run around like *beep* *beep *beep* constantly - I know how frustrating it is to be revived infront of the enemy who just killed you so I always keep an eye open or clear the immediate area.
It's funny, I always get revived when I don't need it or want it but never get revived when I do...
I never really experienced stuttering (bear in mind I'm playing on a laptop) but the new patch must have introduced something like that, it happens pretty randomly and sometimes I even experience rubberbanding.
Is anyone able to log into Origin at the moment? Both the client and the site time out.
If it's because of Player Appreciation Month, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

It doesn't really matter if you get aborted after being revived cuz it doesn't count against you, at least you had a chance.
Anyone have any idea how to fix the lack of gun and player sounds in-game, or is it something we have to wait for Dice to do? Cause that's pretty damn annoying.

Don't play TDM.
DMRs feel great after the patch. The 3 shot kill plus suppression makes them great guns at longer ranges. They're still not that great at close range but that's perfectly fine. I'm really happy with where DMRs now. They feel really well balanced.
Rush on Hainan Resort is a joke.
There are two choppers in first part of the map. All reserved by attackers.
So I assume these free shortcut kits haven't been released as of yet? Played a few rounds earlier and haven't had a single issue that I had back in December.

It's funny you say that though because I've never been in a game that gets past the first two M-COMs despite that the attackers have helos. All the rush maps that have the attackers start off shore and have to drive a boat to the first base almost always end at the first base.
I played sniper on big map for real for the first time, feels good and like something real. Spooting, sniping from big range, some headshots... That device to spot people is reaaallyyy useful. And keeping c4 for some occasions.
And lol, a enemy tank just drove NEAR ME, like 2-3 M, and I was not laying on ground hiding but just casually shooting to people standing. I was scared a little. But he was gone.
I have only seen Rush get past the first set of points once in BF4. The attackers need at least double the amount of tickets they have now
I wish you got points for regular headshots based on the distance, that way I can see how I did + get rewarded for it.

It's usually just one bad game that gets people to decide which side is OP.
It's funny people here are saying they never see past the first 2 M-Coms but whenever I play I usually get steamrolled by the attackers in no time.
Only on the odd occasion have I been on an attacking team and won however, I don;t seem to ever win a Rush Match.

The shortcuts haven't been released yet, and I honestly have no idea when they will either.
I'd rather the shortcuts weren't implemented anyway. It detracts from the point of fighting to unlock. Even if it is a sorry - the battlepacks are enough for me.
It also still says on PS4 that there is an 100% XP boost event going, when there isn't. I noticed a few hours ago that you can search for Second Assault maps in the server browser too, but there isn't any servers. Second Assault has to be arriving soon, the assignments are even released as well.

The Bad Company rush maps had 100 tickets. But that game had a maximum of 32 players. With BF3 and BF3, the game allows 64 players. Unfortunately, even though the player count is doubled, the tickets are not. So if you are playing on a 64 player server, you have actually half of the tickets you would normally have if you played on a 32 player server.
This doesn't necessarily mean you can't play 64 player rush. It is possible for the server to set the limit to 200 tickets. You just have to look at the server stats before you connect.
Its frustrating that the 200 ticket count isn't set as default for 64 player servers, but you still can find ones where at least someone knows what they are doing.
The map sizes are another thing though. I'm not so sure it's such a good idea to have 64 players cramped into the areas that DICE has set for the rush maps. I am fairly confident they did not design the maps for 64 players. And even still, I don't think the map designers put much thought into it anyways. For example, on Siege of Shanghai, both MCOMs are in that underground metro. It's hard enough for 32, but with 64, I imagine someone was a little bit too drunk when they thought of that idea.

Why is it that Irish seems to be based off the average Random we find in multiplayer? I'm considering writing a detailed analysis on why Irish is the worst Modern Military Shooter Campaign character since Rico Velasquez.
Anyway, noticed in my save-data management that DICE's campaign corruption solution is to just simply leapfrog two save files in tandem instead of just constant overwrite.
You can do better than that DICE. You can get to the root of the problem and fix the corruption's cause in the first place.
I need to test more on BF4 with Mantle.
The Star Swarm test doubled my minimum and average FPS though.
