Does anyone from Facepunch uses Vanilla weapon settings? Iron sight
Personally I believe BF iron sights were sent straight from hell to inflict pain and misery upon the mortal world It's ok for most people because they just aim at the center of volume but if you aim at the head you can't see 90% of the guy

I personally feel that Iron Sights reduce recoil a bit and gives you a bit bigger zoom comparing to Red Dot Sight scopes. Well maybe It's just me but I play only with Iron Sight.

It's one of the reasons I still play BF3.
I tend to use irons on LMGs, they seem less awkward that way and are much more fun imo. Asgjdkghdfkjgn how do you people stand Rush it is so bad holy crap
the fuck is dice doing? The sound bug that was in the game at release where your sound just cuts out entirely and you hear random shit is BACK in the game. I just joined a server and had the bug, decided to play the entire round to see if it was fixed after map change. Didn't fix it. Joined a different server and had the bug happen to me again. 3-4 months after release and what i would consider fairly large bugs which have existed since release day are still floating around. Just woah
Am I the only one who doesn't get any major bugs?
Well I just gave Mantle a try, really disappointed. I'm blaming it on BF4 though Have to use the 64bit version to use it, but BF4's 64bit version for me stutters to an unplayable degree. So bad that there's more stuttering than not. But in between the framerate is great. So I switched on Mantle, restarted, and the framerate is worse. Looking at lighting effects, like rays in fog, slows the framerate to the 20's and teens 32bit without Mantle runs so much better it's almost a joke. It runs perfect, but with Mantle? Not worth the time it took to install the driver
I still can't test it out because every time I try to enter options it crashes... :v:
From what I understand that bug was reintroduced with the most recent patch and only seems to effect deathmatch games, so if you're playing TDM/SDM try another game mode.
I had the similar problem and it was only in TDM in Locker specifically, and it only happened at certain times. Like I would be in the same game as some friends and they would both have the sound problem and I wouldnt have any bugs.
this has got me killed more than i would like to admit
This has literally never happened to me, ever.
Not yet, you mean
This has literally never happened to me, ever.
The reload and not get a full magazine after has happened to me numerous times.
So I got BF4 yesterday and after 15-20 minutes of gameplay I start getting freeze stuttering and the occasional crash. What's up with that I'll try 32 bit maybe that helps
The reload and not get a full magazine after has happened to me numerous times.
I'll never understand that, why do I never get a lot of the bugs but others do? What's the difference ;|

A DICE employee joined one of the matches i was in while the server was having intense rubber banding issues he was subjected to 63 other players ripping on the terrible rushed job that is called BF4, with terrible optimization, large bugs, and STILL crashes. i honestly felt bad for him after the first few minutes because it was literally a stream of people tearing the game apart and telling him to get DICE off their asses and fixing the game, he eventually just left. i've NEVER had an experience where i've met up with one of the game developers in the game they made, and it was just people talking shit to them the entire time. I've met Bungie employees while playing Halo 2 and 3, i've met Treyarch employees while playing World at War, i've met VALVe employees while playing CS, etc. etc. i can list another 10+ games and EVERY time they were praised, asked positive questions and thanked a ton for their hard work. I didn't see a single person that said GJ to this DICE employee for the entire match they were playing. It was just a constant stream of shit talking and making him feel bad [editline]4th February 2014[/editline] http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/soldier/switchblade327/stats/304456671/pc/ this was the employee btw
The thing is, he probably isn't responsible for any of those issues either and most likely has no more influence in the game's development than the rest of us
Why can't people realize this is EA's fault with their impossible deadlines, not DICE's?
To be fair everything we know about the situation is pure speculation based on EA's reputation Not that I endorse being a dick to devs in any way, regardless of whose fault it is
He didn't even beat the campaign.
So? He's probably played the hell out of it during it's development.

And they absolutely deserve it. The most accurate AR in BF4 has 4x the spread of the most accurate AR in BF3. They have ruined everything.
And they absolutely deserve it.
No, they don't. Not everyone at DICE is responsible for it's problems. In fact most of them aren't. And despite what anyone experiencing problems have to say, they are doing a a good job fixing with problem for it and making it up to people who have or still experiencing issues. They didn't need to do Player Appreciation Month, they didn't need to halt all development of DLC to fix the base game, they didn't need to ask the community what to tweak with everything in the game (the thing you're complaining about would be listed under that, GIVE THEM FEEDBACK) but they did.

Servers seem to handle hitreg worse. The infantry combat is just flat out worse.
No, they don't. Not everyone at DICE is responsible for it's problems. You're being kind of a prick for basically saying every dev no matter their job at DICE deserves to be shit on by the playerbase as soon as they join a server just because of "spread is the spawn of satan".
The art people are responsible for the particle effects, the programmers are responsible for the bugs that have plagued BF4. Not even the morons that constantly whine about crap in chat complain about it. Your vision is like really bad, just turn all settings down to low and be like those quake pro players.

LMGs DO produce unrealistic opaque clouds of black smoke, this is an objective fact.
