that's what I'm saying... that is not impressive in the slightest, how did this pass Q/A
Not all bugs are found, or exist during QA tests. And it has nothing to do with the length of the run way, it seems to be an input bug, can't even tilt the plane until it's no longer touching the ground. Bugs happen, and a minor one like this will be fixed quick. But it's clear EA is slacking on the QA budget, glad I don't do any QA work with them anymore. [editline]21st February 2014[/editline]
On Operation Firestorm I always crash into the hills at the end of the runway on US side.. [editline]21st February 2014[/editline] and often blow up.
9/10 times i'm successful at taking off on firestorm by moving right before taking off.
Not all bugs are found, or exist during QA tests.
come on, you can't tell me if the testing had been done at all properly this wouldn't have been found
I've yet to take off in a fighter properly on any of the SA maps, the anti-ground aircraft lifts off fine, none of the fighters do and I have to take off of the ground past the runway every time no matter how I take off.
come on, you can't tell me if the testing had been done at all properly this wouldn't have been found
Bug doesn't exist on the Xbox One version, didn't even exist last patch. Bugs happen dude. But yeah, EA needs to reallocate money and resources to BF4 QA. Hell, if they reached out for third party/freelance help I would gladly offer my services in assisting to make BF4 the game it should be.
The one thing that would make this game so much better would be upgrading the servers, a tick rate of 10 is ridiculous when even 64 is considered too low for shooters like CS:GO

[editline]21st February 2014[/editline] and often blow up.
I've had no problem taking off from the US side, but on the Russian side I think I've taken off in the Su-50 maybe twice without getting glued to the ground and running into a hill.
In every Battlefield I crash the plane in 15 seconds.
Attack heli's in some maps are impossible to fly. You get 50m above ground and then 5 missiles slam you.
I also really like the sandstorm. Sure it fucks up your visibility, but it makes what was an open and very snipe happy map very claustrophobic feeling. Also, unless im mistaken, the sandstorm lets up a little after a while
I hate the way the sandstorm is done, it seems like it's designed to make everyone less accurate instead of actually limiting view distance
You shouldn't be able to use Helicopters in the sandstorm either.
My problem with the sandstorm isn't the visibility issues - it's the fact that it starts FAR too soon into every match. I play on 1000 ticket - 1200 ticket servers. It starts within 100 tickets, and doesn't even begin to let up until the match is over halfway done. Jets, attack helicopters, snipers all are completely useless on this map for a majority of the time. If the sandstorm started when 60% of the match was done, that would be much better. It would give the losing team an opportunity to go ninja cap some points and possibly turn it around. Having 90% of the match played during a sandstorm on 1200 ticket servers is NOT fun
I love it, reminds me of BF2.

Air vehicles are fucking epic in the sand storm. Perfect for hit and run attacks. Also IR scopes. Don't play Oman on a high ticket server if it bugs you that much.
I love it, reminds me of BF2.
It's nothing like BF2, BF2 fog isn't a horrible evil particle system birthed by satan
It's nothing like BF2, BF2 fog isn't a horrible evil particle system birthed by satan
Nah but both sides of the coin prevents snipers from camping the shit out of the map.
Nah but both sides of the coin prevents snipers from camping the shit out of the map.
Imagine if they added wind direction variables to sniping + sandstorm.
To indicate my frustration of the DBV-12 shotgun, I typed "DBV-12 is giving me cancer" into the chat.
Game disconnected: you have been banned from this server. Stated reason: You got round banned for using bad language!
I wish they would remove counter knifing until they fixed it.
I wish they would remove counter knifing until they fixed it.
I wish the knifing was like in BF3
I wish the knifing was like in BF3
i wish it was too. it was super fun spamming left click and running in a circle until one of you died.
I wish they would remove counter knifing until they fixed it.
i still think it should be a button mash contest between the two people.
I think it should be a button mash contest between the two people.
That's what I thought it was at first, but nope... Press "knife button" to not die.
i wish it was too. it was super fun spamming left click and running in a circle until one of you died. i still think it should be a button mash contest between the two people.
but that would be macros galore, maybe like a QTE thing for both players with different buttons on it
There should be an intricate and precise melee combat system like in Chivalry
They are the exact same size as the BF3 versions, and there is more than enough room to takeoff and land.
As a warthunder player which takes liberties with shit like this, what the fuck is that anyway, a runway for baby ants? that's laughably small.
As a warthunder player which takes liberties with shit like this, what the fuck is that anyway, a runway for baby ants? that's laughably small.
it's well known that the battlefield planes don't follow physics and are actually alien spacecraft
Played BF4 - netcode wouldn't let me play properly for some reason. Played BF3 and damn did I miss my Premium and all the unlocks.
so the score is 60 us 600 them and my friend gets balanced to the winning team for "auto balance"
The one thing that would make this game so much better would be upgrading the servers, a tick rate of 10 is ridiculous when even 64 is considered too low for shooters like CS:GO
I have no idea how this game even plays somewhat well with fucking 10tic.
it's well known that the battlefield planes don't follow physics and are actually alien spacecraft
Why the hell did they give them antigravity when the first game made a decade ago had actual lift physics
I have no idea how this game even plays somewhat well with fucking 10tic.
it doesnt
