PS4 player here
Can someone tell me why in the fuck official DICE servers run 64 player locker? It's annoying to play a real map like Golmud then have to deal with 30+ rocket launchers all being fired at once in a prison

Because double XP weekend, that's the most requested map during double XP
What's the point then? It's more of a job than a video game to farm kills in a clusterfuck. I'd rather immerse myself,have fun, and earn xp at a normal level with vehicles and tanks along with infantry but I can't because Locker is part of the 64 player conquest rotation

The point is Double XP 100% or 200% boosts + 64 player locker = mass amounts of XP. Nobody is forcing you to play 64 player locker.

You don't go to 64p servers to have fun. You go there to grind kills. If you want to have fun, join 24p servers (or 32p for maps like Golmud or Paracel).
That said, I'm rather annoyed by the lack of hardcore obliteration Locker servers, especially during the 2x xp (which is already gone by the way, crap)
Is it just me or is getting spawnkilled all the time really really frequent and almost inevitable in the base bf4 maps in rush? half the time the attacking team ends up camping at the bomb sites and just shooting us as we spawn.

What you should do is keep scrolling down in the server browser until all the existing servers are loaded. Then click the button to show the highest playercounts first. You should find a decent number of servers. I found about 24 servers with good ping, 10 of which were decently populated at the time.
Love this game, just has a lot of bugs & crashes.

Most of the time those bugs & crashes just fuck me up.
Atleast it clean up all the n00bs (with shitty PC builds) from servers...
This freeze with looping sound is driving me insane.
I'm pretty lucky, I barely crash at all now. Maybe once every 20 games or so.
I got lucky and my game runs perfect, it's also annoying for the vehicle you spawned in to blow up 5 seconds in.

I've not crashed once since the first few patches after release. Though this might be because of reserved slot -bullshit that kicks me out of servers so I don't usually stay actually in-game for extended periods of time. :v:
just got bf4 and ive concluded that 95% of this game is just emblem creator

also i kept getting this fucking error whenever i tried to save it, had to click save over a hundred times before i got the shitty thing to work
There is no way to express how aggravating it is trying to get Jet ribbons for the UCAV, and tower kills for the GOL.
Everyone seems to be better than me in jets, and if I damage them, they just ram themselves into the ground so I don't get a kill. Also, I'm never able to even get up the first ladder before someone camping the tower kills me.

Does running steam at the same time as bf4 have any noticeable performance issues for anyone else?
I tried Metro (I haven't played it in BF3) for the first time. The server was 36 / 36 and I didn't like it.
Somehow Operation Locker on 32 players seems to be just right. Metro not.
