Makes sense. Lag is a rather unpleasant feature of BF4.
It's really sad that they nerfed the REX. People expect an easy kill when I'm reloading my M16A4, they don't realize my secondary can one shot them all faster than the DAO-12. Tried with Mantle again. Still getting bad performance spikes, and is still unstable. Others were reporting better and more stable, but it seem those were the people using Intel CPU + AMD GPU. I'm running this shitty FX 6100... but I don't want to upgrade / spend money on a new CPU until the next line of FX chips.

I don't understand people that only kill with explosives, I mean how more low can you go? If someone has more explosive kills than anything else, I think he should spend his day in self-loathing and then kill himself
I believe you have to get 2 assist ribbons as well as 10 kills in one round, even though it doesn't say so. Both of those requirements kept resetting for me except for the assault rifle ribbon.

DICE really need to tone down how many rooftops you can go on in siege of shanghai, the amount of recons all over the place with c4 layed on the roads under them is just infuriating. In fact, why does the recon class even have access to c4 in the first place? As if all the engineers running around weren't bad enough, you have to worry about 3/4 of the playable classes which is really lame imo.

Christ, joined some Hungarian server and it had an admin message telling you that a player joined each time some random joins with that horrible yellow text that sits over your entire HUD, had spelling mistakes in it too.. Just why? Who thinks that's a good idea? Same with those servers that announce when someone has been knifed. Horrible distracting text. Those messages should only be reserved for sending players warnings.

Is it on a counter/timer?[/QUOTE] They added a short period of time in which you can redeploy (if you spawned on s squadmate that was glitching) to avoid getting banned, from my own testing, it takes about 30-35 sec.

I give up with the stutter and bad performance, might grab the PS3 version off Amazon and upgrade to the PS4 version. Got a £10 amazon voucher and about £15 PSN so will just cost me a tenner
