Managed to sneak my way into Div1 for skill level. I now have a higher skill than 97% of all players
Well I'm pretty sure cheat devs aren't going to add features to make the game prettier
True, but it does sound like they have some interest in developing modifications for a game that is almost completely empty. It would be great if they were interested in reviving the player base for it. They could just be in it for the money, but doesn't really make sense why they would release a cheat so soon if 2142 is as dead as everyone says.
So, there's a hack utility for 2142 that disables the fog, and increases the view distance. It makes the game look so much better. I wish everyone could experience this game with no fog and better view distances, the base game has a view distance of like 30 meters, it's so bad. I still think 2142 was best BF
Is there still plenty of people playing? I still think 2142 was best BF
Yeah there's plenty, I can't play anymore though.
Playing on Zavod 311. We lose horribly, like 700 - 0. Half the team was recon camping in the woods, dying, not setting spawn beacons for others to possible attempt an advantage from a flank. The other half was too spread out over the map and were getting obliterated by squads of the other team. Anytime I would gain a flag, a tank would quickly come by and ruin that. Everytime I would join a squad and take on a flag together, 1 squad and a tank would be close by. I'm an engineer, so I can only get 1 shot off at the tank, 2 if I'm really lucky and find decent cover. Everyone else was playing assault or support and couldn't do dick all against the tanks. Hardly anyone used tanks to defend (I tried, but failed miserably, they had a decent amount of engineers.) And our choppers were used by recons to get to the roofs and promptly die soon after. [editline]11th March 2014[/editline] /rant tl:dr : Camping in Conquest does fuck all. I need better team mates.
GODDAMN MOTHERFUCK HOW How the fuck am I supposed to play this shitload of fuck that is Air Superiority? It's a constant fest of BEEPBEEPBEEP warfare and literally everyone else is making infinitely tighter turns than I can possibly, and seems to be capable of bleeding speed like they paused midair while my jet seems to remain static in velocity, along with it feeling that no matter what I try to do to shake someone tailing me it feels like I have an entire jet squadron welded to me? I just want my fucking UAV but I don't see that happening when I can at best get 2 kills a match compared to the 3 jet ribbons in a round the unlock expects out of me.
/rant
This is why I don't play Battlefield alone anymore. [editline]11th March 2014[/editline] Also I figure I might as well say it since I have complained about assignments since China Rising but the Naval Strike ones are pretty good. Progress carries on between rounds and they are relatively easy to get. Except the SR2. I have no idea how I am going to destroy 20 boats. Should be like 5.

Helicopter pilots seem to have some kind of entitlement issue where they do not understand how strong air is, and they take it for granted expecting it to be the natural state of things. Helicopters have a pretty high learning curve and a non-existant skill ceiling. Helicopter pilots can get so good that they can completely dominate a game and become the equivalent of some douchebag using a no-clip cheat in a shooter, destroying everyone. When you have this virtually unlimited mobility, something needs to exist in the game to counter that and stop these pilots from just swarming the map going where they well damn please. That's why you have all this shitty auto-lock bullshit in battlefield games. It's to counter the one percent of players that are otherwise uncatchable.
Or you cloud just get yourself an Xbox controller. I can't fly jets without it. I also can't fly choppers in 3rd person. As soon as I switch I forget how to control it and plummet into the nearest map asset.
easiest way to fly a jet is to use the arrow keys can't say the same for helicopters, those fuckers are tricky and i just use them to get height so i can drop over an area to control.
easiest way to fly a jet is to use the arrow keys can't say the same for helicopters, those fuckers are tricky and i just use them to get height so i can drop over an area to control.
Easiest way is with pull up bound to space and using kb+m
I still find it easier with a controller.. Just personal preference I guess. I'm fine flying helicopters with mouse + keyboard though.
Well in 11 days it'll be 1 month since I last heard from the 'EA specialist' who is dealing with my case about GPU/CPU stutter. His first/last email said: "..our correspondence should be much quicker now that we have established communication." Am I doomed to forever play BF4 on fucking medium settings??
[t]http://puu.sh/7rptT.png[/t] Some people need to simmer.
People that has like over 150 hours in a jet should probably spend their money in a sim instead of fucking ruining my matches. [editline]11th March 2014[/editline] some people are actually so good it becomes un-fun to play. If you're good enough you can survive the entire round and only die once. Was worse in BF3 though.
[t]http://puu.sh/7rptT.png[/t] Some people need to simmer.
i usually do the same only i don't even try to win anymore, it's useless
Keys to being good at helicopters. 1. Locate and stay a half map's length away from the enemy mobile AA 2. Locate map hot-spots where lots of engineers may potentially be (example: the 2 main buildings in zavod) and skirt around the edge of those with your back facing your spawn. Don't just rush in like an idiot and hope for the best 3. After you use your countermeasures, run away to your spawn to let them recharge. Don't just use them and hope noone will target you 4. Pay attention to where lock-ons are coming from and determine if you should run away, eliminate the threat, or tank through it Follow these and congratulations you've extended your survivabiloty by a ton
[t]http://puu.sh/7rptT.png[/t] Some people need to simmer.
Every UK server I go into is full of people like this. I get good ping on German servers so i think I'll stay over there for now. Although it is frustrating when 90% of your team are camping the hill at spawn on operation Firestorm. Not US spawn, RU Spawn, next to E. It was bloody infuriating to be the one of 5 people trying to push the objectives. (Atleast in my experience) and I get great ping too. Only 5-10 more ping compared to UK Servers which is good. For some reason every Russian server I join I get kicked saying 'Join a server in your country'.

I avoid playing with Russians in all games whenever possible.
Had a Texan join the Toronto server. That guy was cussing us out left right and center, so everyone including his own teammates ganged up on him. Long story short, The Canadians (all 63 of us) murdered a Texan, had a mini flare party on top of the mountain (Guillin Peaks), and then a cruise missile murdered all of us. It was a great round.
Some people need to simmer.
"go back to cod ghosts" It's funny that Battlefield players think all the bad players in their game are "CoD players" who have transitioned over months after the games release just to ruin games for them. The last CoD game I played saw a lot more objective play and closer games than I've ever seen in BF3 or BF4.
That's because people who don't want to do other stuff than kill people never press anything below TDM.
Anyone in FPNA wanna get together and shoot some guys? we need to get that platoon score yo

I left that series in the dirt for good reason.
The last time I played CoD it involved constant spawning and dying since the games have been such a clusterfuck since MW2.
Anyone in FPNA wanna get together and shoot some guys? we need to get that platoon score yo
Oh yeah... how do we get a platoon score anyway?
10 year-olds screaming at me " YOU CAN'T EVEN 360 NOSCOPE YOU FUCKING NOOB!"
I have VOIP off in every game I play and rarely look at chat. As long as you are pushing the objective I don't care what you are saying.
The last time I played CoD it involved constant spawning and dying since the games have been such a clusterfuck since MW2.
never had this problem in Black Ops 2.
Oh yeah... how do we get a platoon score anyway?
4 people playing together on one server generates score. Related: Just applied the FPNA.
