Has Dice said if you can drive a aircraft carrier in Naval Assault? If so I think it would be massively abused, I remember when playing 1942 people would ram carriers into each other.
I forgot how awful this game's brown filter is
Naval Strike fixes that. Looks more like FarCry.
I just died because pitching a jet up or down doesn't work while looking around. Why the hell?
From what I've seen naval strike is very underwhelming, just as expected. Titan mode was so much more that, this is just a conquest map with a rush endgame
Haven't got round to testing but apparently bull-pup rifles now benefit from an ADS movement speed (1x scopes only) similar to what they had BF3. Me and my AUG are gonna wreck face. :v:
Yup, mantle still lags to high hell with me.

I'm more concerned that DICE may have dropped the ball on the interior layouts of the ships rather than the setup of the gamemode. [editline]21st March 2014[/editline] Seriously hoping that BF5/2143/ect has some form of Titan Mode at launch. Hell, it shouldn't even have to be specifically a ship if the map doesn't allow. Why not something, like say, a hardened bunker? We can't move the ships anyway (Don't cite 2142's commander ability - the majority of servers disable Titan moving), so having a "Titan" that is an immobile position wouldn't hurt too much.
It'll be fine as long as we get the same objective-corridor clusterfucks we had in 2142.
From what I've seen, the first MCOM is in a rather open area right near the vehicle elevator doors (big round hole in the ship) and the second in some sort of engine room. I'm assuming the second one will be tighter, but judging by the stream it'll be much more chaotic (each team can come from any direction, rather than a head-on engagement like in 2142's corridors). I haven't played as a commander for a single time. I guess I'm missing something.

But what about SRAW missiles becoming useless satellites?
-Javelin damage has been reduced from 34% to 30%
Who ever thought this would be necessary
Who ever thought this would be necessary
Because you can have a whole team full of engineers without an assault, support, and recon and win every round

did they fix the ARX reload animation? [editline]21st March 2014[/editline] They didnt btw
There's a new exploit currently out that allows people to crash other people's game, and sometimes wipe player stats, stay off servers with commander mode until they patch this, I had to talk to an Origin agent to recover my stats.

They have guys looking only at the telemetry. The complaints and the stats don't match up.
Kicked by Punkbuster for Disallowed Program #130827. Not sure what it would be... Unless it's either DXTory or SweetFX. But it's never kicked me for them before now... It shouldn't be the 14.3 drivers either, they've been fine for a while as well.
I think it is Sweet FX. DICE had a huge stick up their ass when people were using it on BF3 so it wouldn't look so monotonous and blue.
Fuuuuuuuuggggg. I was actually having fun in the Metro, playing with some Finbros and then suddenly "something went wrong." Oh and leaning is so useful. And the M416 is awesome.

I thought I was alone to be thinking of that. ^
I've watched LevelCap's preview of Naval Strike, and, even though DICE fucked up some parts of the Carrier Assault(or as I call it Titan 0.5) the maps look impressive and it made me sad that I don't have money for Premium to play them + Second Assault(especially Gulf of Oman 2014). :(
Wasn't Naval strike being released for non-premium members? Not sure where I thought I heard that, cause I may be wrong.
Wasn't Naval strike being released for non-premium members? Not sure where I thought I heard that, cause I may be wrong.
It does, just 2 weeks later. Also some faggot is about to release a hack that allows you to teleport around the map, so be prepared for that shit and record it, Fairfight can potentially detect this but they wont. Basically all they have to look for is a big sudden change in the cords, but they wont do it. So if you see people like, on tdm running, vaulting and then suddenly teleporting to the skybarrier, record that shit and report them.
Maybe because vaulting itself can launch you across the map :P
Wasn't Naval strike being released for non-premium members? Not sure where I thought I heard that, cause I may be wrong.
You'd still have to buy it I believe.
I forgot how awful this game's brown filter is
The game always looks so washed out for me, which super, super sucks because a lot of the time I have to have my brightness jacked because even outdoors, the game feels dark. It's like the brightness settings have been fucked around with, the shading is all bizarre
