What's the go with knifing
Like I get you can 'counter' knives, presumably from the front
But people can actually shoot you while you're knifing them? That sucks.

yeah, you can only counter if you get knifed from the front, and if you have pretty good reflexes. As for people being able to shoot you, logical enough.
You have about a split second to shoot before the knife animation actually starts. From time to time I manage to shotgun people attempting face knives.
Anyone yet found what the password for the second phase of Phantom assignment is? It came with the new DLC IIRC.

There's been plenty of times where I've spammed the counter button before the animation starts all the way up until I'm dead. I've never once achieved a counter-knife. It's total bullshit.

Would be cool if that was a game mode in last stand for example.

Only your first press counts, so you can't spam it. You have to wait until the prompt appears (or until the part where it would usually appear).

I've not seen the prompt once, even when I waited to see if it would appear.

I'd really forgotten how good the AK5C is. Came into a game with something like 200 vs 300 tickets left and managed to climb halfway to the top of the list
Maybe it's time to start using that more again
The AK5c is actually my favorite carbine. It just feels like a solid all-arounder.
